Weight Watchers Taco Soup

This soup is absolutely delicious!  And it definitely does the job to "warm you up" :)

And it's super easy!

Put it in the crock pot and let it sit!

Mmmm.. Mmmmmm..

ENJOY!

This is what I substitued...

Instead of the onions (DH gets terribly sick from them), I put in some garlic salt and since I was doing no onions, I did "mixed vegetables" instead of just carrots.

Also, make mini meatballs with any ground meat you would like.  Mix the ground meat with taco seasoning and then roll them in little balls.  Stick them in the soup an hour BEFORE the soup is finished. They will cook in there... No need to brown them prior.

I soooooo want to try this if only I could convince DH to let me buy a slowcooker!!! :( He is rather irrational about thinking that if I leave the slowcooker on while we're at work, one of the cats will invariably find a way to a) hurt themselves and/or b) set the apartment on fire!

Aww.. LINGY!!!!!!  That sucks! :(

I'm sure you can make it on the stove top! :)

Crock pots are my heaven..

My dad is like your hubby...

He doesn't like anything on when he leaves the house and no one is home.

I get it but... This is the *purpose* of a slow cooker :)

Maybe you can block off the kitchen when you have it on..?

:)
