What I've learned from the Pioneer Woman

1) Pretty much anything by her is delicious.
2) She loves onion just a little bit too much, at least much more than I do.
3) Her recipes are very flexible and forgiving.
4) She's hilarious and doesn't take her cooking too seriously.

All in all, I love this woman! If you have yet to, you should seriously check out her arsenal of recipes. You're bound to find something.

I know! I watched it! She's definitely a tv rookie. She seems a little out of her element, like she's nervous. Once she gets the hang of it I'm sure she'll be great.

I had never heard of her until you posted about her.  I"m completely addicted to her site!  I love that she shows pictures along with her recipes so you know what you should be looking at.  (I'm a totally rookie in the kitchen right now so that totally helps me out!)

I've bookmarked a few of her sweets, but no main dishes--probably all the onions turned me off! Neither DH nor I are big fans of onions. :P I know we can leave them out but for some recipes that start with you sauteeing onions I think they're necessary for some sort of chemical thing to get things going right... I'm afraid to find out!

I know I've got some kind of cinnamon bread of hers on my "to try" list... mmmmm.
