Save The Date Magnets Ideas And Suggestions

So many couples or individuals who are planning parties, events and especially weddings are searching the internet the perfect save the date magnets.  Whenever they check all the different internet companies they are sometimes unhappy with what they find.  A lot of the designs these online companies have are either cliché or not their style.  So, how do you find the best designs that you will definitely like?  Easy!  You can create your own by using your own photo and adding a caption.  Take your design and send it to a website that will print and cut them up.  Don't waste all your time scouring the internet, only to be let down with what's out there.  Make your own.  The greatest save the dates are the ones that have a unique style, and fit with your personality.  If you're wondering how to accomplish this, keep reading.

Why is humor important?  Because if your invites are funny, your guests will believe your event will be, too.  If you want your guests to think they will have a good time at your event, humor is a simple way to show it.  You don't want to be tacky or too over the top.  Your best option is to have a funny or endearing photo of yourselves (if you're getting married) or of the person you're throwing the party for.  If you want to save money, your best bet is to not hire a professional photographer.  Other options include college students, friends or relatives who are shutterbugs, and even other hobbyist photographers.  Whether they are college students or just friends who like to shoot, you can most likely get some photos taken.

As soon as a picture is secure and ready to go, a witty saying can be added to the invite.  This can be hard to do, but focusing your attention on who the party is for or, if you're dealing with a wedding, the bride and groom, you should be able to make something up.  If you're having trouble here, but your picture is great in itself, you can even just stick with the who, what, when, and where.

If you have ideas for putting a personal touch and flair on your save the date magnets, apply them.  If not, don't worry.  It isn't critical to do this.  Since you've already personalized it with your own photo and caption, you're 99 percent done.  If you feel like it needs some extra punch, like a certain color with the envelopes or some designs printed on the edges of the picture, you can do this.  Font can also have a giant impact on the end result.

If you're having trouble finding the perfect save the date magnets, don't just settle for what's out there.  Focus on making a spectacular photograph, a humorous one would be best.  After that, try writing a funny saying to add to the basic info of who, what, when, and where.  Finally, style them up with the font and printing style.  You can create your own funny save the date magnets if you follow these rules of thumb.
