You will need:
- One tag shaped puncher
- Card stock to match your colors
- One hole puncher
- One ink pad in your desired color
- Several ink stamps to match your theme
- One Sharpie untra fine point pen in your desired color
- Some sort of string or ribbon of your choice
*My theme was the carnival/circus and I made around 250 tags in about two days. By adjusting the color of the paper, the stamps used, and the type of string used to attach them to the favors, this can be easily made to fit any wedding colors and theme. Just use your imagination!
Use your tag shaped puncher on the card stock to make the number of tags that you need.
Using this type of paper, I could fit about 20 tags on each page. So I only needed about ten pages for 200 tags.
Hole punch your tags. Make sure the holes are punched far enough into the tag so that they won't tear off easily.
I used a heart shaped hole punch. Again, this can be changed to fit what you like.
Now it is time to stamp and mark the tags. On one side, apply the stamps that you have choosen. On the other side, write your names and the date of the event.
If hand writing the names and dates is to much, a specialized stamp/sticker could be used for that side. Also, what you write here could be adjusted to make these favors for a bridal shower, baby shower, or the wedding event itself as I did.
Use your string/ribbon to try them to the favors.
I chose a twine to keep with my theme, but virtually anything could be used.
Now you have tags for your favors that were cheap, easy to make, and made with love!
