Baton Rouge Wedding Dress

Baton Rouge Wedding Dress

At one point, wedding dresses were dainty white creations that never strayed from the traditional concept.  These days, wedding dresses are as varied as the brides who wear them – available in a rainbow of colors and styles, and with many different embellishments. As you think about the type of Baton Rouge wedding dress you will walk down the aisle in, consider a few of the most popular local boutiques.  Image at right by Lea-Ann Belter Bridal.

Baton Rouge Wedding Dress Hotspot: Bustle Bridal Gowns & Accessories

Bustle Bridal features couture gowns and collections like Jewel by Priscilla of Boston, The Vineyard Collection, Essence of Australia, and Reverie by Melissa Sweet.  With prices ranging from $1,200 to $4,000, this boutique is perfect if you’re looking for a couture dress that is still affordable. Bustle Bridal has been in business since 2007 and is quickly becoming one of the most popular bridal boutiques in Baton Rouge.  Make an appointment or visit them on Highland Road.

Baton Rouge Wedding Dress Hotspot: D’Lei’s Fashions, Inc.

D’Lei’s Fashions is a full-service bridal boutique, offering both gorgeous gowns and numerous accessories designed to make you absolutely shine on your wedding day.  They also offer non-traditional bridal gowns, such as informal wedding dresses and Victorian-style dresses.  Dresses range in size from 2 to 24, and such designers as Alfred Angelo, Demetrios, and Impressions are offered at D’Lei’s Fashions.  You’ll find them on Old Jefferson Highway and you are encouraged to make an appointment before visiting.

Baton Rouge Wedding Dress Hotspot: Gabrielle’s Bride and Occasion Salon

Paloma Blanca, Nicole Miller, and Justin Alexander are a few of the designers offered at Gabrielle’s.  Dresses range from $550 to $4,000 and come in many different styles – from informal (think destination wedding) to traditional and classic couture. Gabrielle’s often features specials and discounts so brides can obtain the beautiful gowns and accessories they want, without digging too deep into that bridal budget.

Make appointments to view collections from at least a few different bridal boutiques in Baton Rouge.  If possible, bring magazine pictures or printouts of gowns you particularly love so consultants can help you search for the same designer or style.
