Columbus Wedding Reception

As one of the most historical cities in Ohio, Columbus offers up several delightful gems that would serve as prime reception locations. With mild summer temperatures that invite brides and grooms to say 'I do' outdoors, and charming venues and event halls – the possibilities are truly endless.  With a little time and research, you'll find the perfect spot.  To get you started, here are a few of the best wedding reception locations in Columbus:

Columbus Wedding Reception Venue: Graystone Wine Cellar

Do you and your groom share a love of a fine wine?  Consider celebrating your wedding day in the converted wine cellar of Graystone.  While they no longer produce wine on-site, you and your guests can enjoy bottles of their private label wine created by their sister winery, Wyandotte.  The cavernous feel of the cellar provides an intimate and romantic spot where up to 104 seated guests and up to 150 'cocktail reception' guests can be accommodated. Located in the historic Brewery District, Graystone also provides catering, cake-cutting service, and vegan/vegetarian meal options.

Columbus Wedding Reception Venue: The Clock Tower

Handle two main wedding planning issues at once with The Clock Tower – famous throughout Columbus for delicious catering and a gorgeous reception location.  With 7,000 square feet including a 400 square foot dance floor, The Clock Tower can certainly accommodate your guests.  They have seating for up to 400 and provide excellent services such as two fully stocked granite bars, a professional DJ booth, light and sound capabilities, an in-house florist, parking for 200 cars and a 10 X 12 LCD projector.

Columbus Wedding Reception Venue: Franklin Park Conservatory

If your wedding reception will be particularly small and intimate, consider the Bride's Garden at the Franklin Park Conservatory.  Not only does it alleviate your need for a florist's touch, but it is also looks breathtaking in person and in photographs.  White Redbud trees and colorful blossoms surround a central bubbling fountain.   A swing, tucked away in the gardens, serves as a wonderful photo prop.  The Bride's Garden can accommodate 50 dinner guests and 100 cocktail guests.

Columbus is ripe with fabulous reception options, so consider your budget, wedding theme and style to find the one that is best for you.
