Memphis Wedding Reception

Choosing a Memphis wedding reception location may seem like a daunting task, but often it can take care of other aspects of planning as well – such as the catering, DJ, and even the ceremony location.  Memphis is jam-packed with gorgeous locations to celebrate the biggest day of your life, so consider your theme and personal style when narrowing down your options.

Memphis Wedding Reception Venue: Memphis Water Works

If you want something more romantic and very dramatic, the Memphis Water Works will make your guests' jaws drop!  Inside a 100-year old converted shed, a fairytale awaits. Patina-covered garden elements, trickling water features and fountains, romantic lighting and koi ponds create an atmosphere unlike any other for your Memphis wedding reception.  This is a lovely backdrop for wedding photos as well.  Space is available in the rear courtyard for up to 400 guests.

Memphis Wedding Reception Venue: Carahills II Event Center

This charming event center includes a manor and pavilion, making it the perfect location to say your vows and celebrate.  Couples who want to marry outdoors can do so in a custom-made gazebo under a canopy of shade trees.  Carahills II can provide a DJ to play your favorite wedding music and make suggestions regarding caterers and other merchants. At under $2000 for up to 100 guests, it won't take a huge bite out of your wedding budget.  A refundable deposit is due at contract signing and the balance of the payment is due 10 days before the reception takes place.

Memphis Wedding Reception Venue: The Historical Daisy

A historical theater and event hall, The Historical Daisy is a beautiful location to celebrate your wedding.  With a half moon stage, dance floors, gorgeous vaulted ceilings and a dramatic half-dome entrance – it will certainly wow your guests.  On top of that, you can take advantage of the Historical Daisy catering, featuring lobster, prime rib, shrimp and seafood, and two full bars. Built in 1902, this theater and event center is a charming and whimsical choice for the artistic bride and groom.

No matter which Memphis wedding reception location you choose, make sure it fits your theme, your personality, and your budget!
