Raleigh Wedding Reception

Your wedding reception is a celebration of one of the biggest moments in your life – of course you want to make it memorable!  Raleigh offers a lovely selection of wedding reception venues, choosing just the perfect one is the difficult part.  Before you begin your search, decide if your ceremony and reception will be held at the same location and determine approximately how many guests you’re expecting.  Now browse a few of the most popular sites for Raleigh wedding receptions.

Raleigh Wedding Reception Venue: JC Raulston Arboretum

The vibrant eight acre JC Raulston Arboretum is maintained by North Carolina State University and offers a variety of outdoor garden settings for your wedding and reception.  Hold an amazing reception amid the A.E. Finley Rooftop Garden (accommodates ninety guests) or host an intimate gathering in the fragrant Finley-Nottingham Rose Garden (up to 25 guests).  Venues can accommodate 25 to 200 guests.  Outdoor reception sites are $500 for four hours, while the auditorium ranges from $140 to $720.

Raleigh Wedding Reception Venue: The Sutherland Estates and Gardens

The Sutherland Estates and Gardens is a favorite spot for outdoor Raleigh wedding receptions.  Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the stately home was bought by Colonel Ransom Sutherland in 1786.  Five romantic outdoor venues are available for your ceremony, the reception, or both.  Outside vendors must meet certain requirements.

Raleigh Wedding Reception Venue: Delightful Inspirations

Featuring the exquisite 4,525-square foot Grand Ballroom, Delightful Inspirations creates an elegant setting for your Raleigh wedding reception.  Delightful Inspirations also offers two romantic gardens if you’re interested in an outdoor ceremony or reception. Catering and event coordination services are also available.

Raleigh Wedding Reception Venue: All Saints Chapel

The quaint All Saints Chapel is a downtown Raleigh treasure.  Built in 1875, the chapel was recently relocated nearby and restored for use as an enchanting wedding and reception venue.  The reception hall can host up to 160 guests for a seated dinner and the main chapel accommodates 150 guests.  Outdoor receptions for up to 200 guests are also available at the Raleigh wedding chapel.
