Stockton Wedding Cakes

Maybe you’ve dreamed of a stylish, traditional white cake since you were a little girl.  Or, you might want something more modern and with bold colors and flavors.  Heck, you might even want something a little artistic and completely creative.  No matter what you’re thinking, chances are there’s a Stockton wedding cake designer who can create it for you.  After all, it’s your day and it should be all about what you want. Consider scheduling consultations with one or two of the popular Stockton wedding cake bakeries below.

Stockton Wedding Cakes: Kat’s Cakes

Chosen as Best of San Joaquin 2009 by The Record, Kat’s Cakes are always made from scratch with fresh ingredients – and they’re never frozen.  Consider the delicious Swiss Meringue Buttercream icing that Kat’s Cakes is making famous, or choose a sculpted fondant cake in any shape you can imagine.  If you can think it up, Kat’s can create it. You can choose your own flavors, or go with the most popular combinations – like ‘Honeymoon on the Beach’ which includes lemon-pineapple cake with mango filling and passion fruit mousse. Tastings are $25, but if you order a cake within three days of the consultation, the $25 goes toward the price of the cake.

Stockton Wedding Cakes: College Bakery

College Bakery typically creates traditional-style cakes.  They can be proudly displayed on pedestals and embellished with fresh flowers, ribbons, fresh fruit and more. They’re located on Pacific Avenue, and can make last minute cakes if need be.

Stockton Wedding Cakes: Coakie Joe’s Cakes

Immaculately designed, bold and beautiful cakes can be found at Coakie Joe’s. From rolled fondant cakes that coordinate perfectly with your wedding colors to sweet buttercream featuring fresh flowers or gum paste designs – there are options for every budget at Coakie Joe’s. Custom cake orders require a $50 minimum and a 50% non-refundable deposit.  Cake tastings include three flavors each of cake and filling, as well as icing and fondant.  The tastings are designed for two people and cost $25.

As you attend your consultations, don’t forget to inquire about delivery charges.  Also, bring printouts or magazine pictures of cakes you’re attracted to, as well as swatches of your wedding colors.
