Well my groom wore a dark brown suit for the wedding and so the perfect color sock was hard to find but once I did...I didn't stop there.
I had seen all those socks that either say "GROOM" or "Don't get cold feet" or whatever on the tube of the sock going up their leg! I didn't see my man hiking up his trousers to show off some iron on transferred block letter socks. I did like the idea so off I went, on another DIY mission. For anyone who does not know......it's IMPOSSIBLE to embroider over the toe of a sock, first the "arm" of the machine will not fit into the sock and the stretch of the sock makes it VERY hard too. I contacted over 20+ embroidery "experts" and they all failed so....... I cut the entire sock open so it could lye flat, had it embroidered and then with surgical precision, put the socks back together. It was challenging because I did not want a seam on the bottom of the sock so he would be comfortable wearing it all day. Mission Accomplished!!!! He wore them, they rock and they are a DIY!!!
