  1. Go to www.googlemaps.com

  2. Find the area/town where your wedding will take place on your map and center it just like how you would want it to appear on your invitation.

  3. Hit Alt and then Prt Scr.

  4. Right click a blank word document and clike "paste."  The google map screen should be pasted into your document.

  5. Use the crop feature to crop the sidebars out of the picte and enlarge your map to the correct size.

  6. Use the drawing toolbar in Microsoft word to draw directly over the roads that you would like to have on your map.  Change the thickness of each of the roads to show the difference between roads and highways.

  7. Insert text boxes to add road/highway names

  8. Add clip art to show the location of your ceremony, reception, and hotel (if you have one)

  9. Don't forget to put a legend/key and include the actual address of your location so people can also use that to type into their GPS!
