Most Memorable Celebrity Beach I Do’s

Barefoot brides, six-course meals and even a wedding gown that changed colors! When the stars plan their nuptials, nothing is off limits and no island is too remote. So which celebs' beachside weddings are the most unforgettable? Slip on your wide-brimmed hat and designer shades and join us as we count down the top five most memorable celebrity beach I do's!

5. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner: Jennifer was still TV fans' favorite booty-kicking spy when she wed wisecracking Ben Affleck in the summer of 2005. So who better to marry them than her "Alias" Dad, Victor Garber? Using the officiant powers granted by the almighty Internet, Garber married the superstar duo on the beach at Turks and Caicos Island's Parrot Cay Resort. It was brutally hot and the bride was four-months pregnant, but she still looked divine in a white, empire waist Vera Wang gown with cap sleeves, a green sash and a veil. Hardly any of the couple's family were there - not even Ben's BFF Matt Damon made the guest list! But they made up for the lack of star power by quickly heading off to the honeymoon suite - at actor Bruce Willis's nearby home.

4: Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott: Tori had hardly split from first hubby Charlie Shanian when she and actor Dean McDermott stole away to Fiji to consummate their vows in 2006. And there wasn't a "Beverly Hills, 90210" star in sight! The beachside ceremony was completely private - it was just the two of them. Tori was barefoot in a white eyelet Dolce & Gabbana gown with a pink sash and her hair long and curly. Dean wore a white D&G suit. They pledged their vows, exchanged rings and after the intimate ceremony, a four-poster, king-sized bed was brought out to the beach where the couple gorged themselves on a six-course meal. Later, they splashed in the water while toasting one another with champagne.

3. Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich: Their romance on the 2004 season of TV's "Survivor: All Stars" had fans buzzing: Was it real or just another phony alliance? But "Romber" showed everyone in 2005 when they tied the knot in the two-hour TV special "Rob and Amber Get Married." After showing all the pre-wedding jitters and preparations, the two were hitched under seashell-covered arches in front of 230 friends (and later millions of viewers) at The Bahamas Atlantis' Paradise Island and Resort. She wore a white gown designed by a family friend and he wore a Tommy Bahama suit. As promised, the event had all the typical TV flourishes. The tough guy choked up as he pledged his homemade vows: "I've never met anyone who has made me feel so special. You make me feel important and smart, sometimes you make me crazy, then you make things alright again."   A choir sang "Oh, Happy Day," and as they sliced into the five-tiered tiramisu wedding cake, fireworks exploded in the sky behind them.

2. Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger:  The first hint of their superstar relationship shocked country fans when the star of "Bridget Jones" ‘and "Jerry Maguire" brought country's No. 1 crooner a margarita onstage at a concert in 2005. Just 10 days later, they wed in a sunset ceremony on St. John in the Virgin Islands in front of just 35 family and friends. She wore a strapless Carolina Herrera, and, in typical Kenny style, he wore a black cowboy hat. In no time, the famous pics of Kenny kissing Renee's hand on the beach hit People magazine, and sales exploded. But, alas, it wasn't to last: Renee filed for annulment just four months later, citing fraud, and the two parted ways.

1. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: Leave it to Mariah to snag No. 1! Mimi pulled off the stealth wedding of the decade in April of 2008 when she snuck off to the Bahamas to wed "Drumline" star and funnyman Nick Cannon. Convincing wedding vendors that she was just shooting a music video on the island, she had boxes of Maine lobsters, China and champagne flown into the island. Only 12 people were invited. But the highlight was her figure-hugging wedding gown designed by Hollywood wardrobe stylist Nile Cmylo. The dress appeared ivory on land, but once the couple waded into the ocean, it turned a dreamy, pale pink!
