New York Wedding Reception

New York wedding reception:

It's your big day and you deserve to have the wedding of your dreams. If you are considering a New York wedding reception, you have come to the right place. The Big Apple has so many beautiful places to say "I do" and we have narrowed it down to five amazing spots.

  • The Lighthouse

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River reveal breathtaking views that are hard to beat. The Lighthouse, located at the heart of Chelsea Piers, is one of legendary caterer Abigail Kirsch's locations. A New York wedding reception at the Lighthouse ensures style and grace in a picturesque setting.

Capacity: 100-800 guests

  • Angel Oresanz Center

The Center itself is a neo-gothic building, which was designed as a synagogue in 1849. It was once the studio of Spanish sculptor Angel Orensanz, but now hosts the arts, performances and private events. Fun Fact: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick got married here.

Capacity: 250-300 guests

  • Brooklyn Botanic Garden

If you are looking for an outdoor venue, consider getting married at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, under a beautiful oasis of trees, flowers, and pastoral scenes. The photography alone will be gorgeous! Afterwards, take advantage of the Garden's Palm House for your New York wedding reception. They have spectacular indoor and outdoor sites available for a truly unique experience.

Capacity: 300 guests

  • The Plaza

The Plaza is an iconic link to the history and elegance of New York City. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind celebration, exchange vows under the magnificent canopy of The Plaza's Grand Ballroom. The Grand Ballroom and the Terrace Room are the quintessential locations for a New York wedding reception.

Capacity: 500-600 guests

  • Tribeca Rooftop

Tribeca Rooftop is an extremely popular indoor/outdoor event space. If you are thinking of having your New York wedding reception here~ this spectacular 15,000 square foot Penthouse features striking views of the Hudson River, The Empire State Building and downtown Tribeca.

Capacity: 360-400 guests

Congrats on your special day and cheers to a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness!
