Santa Rosa wedding tips

* Visit the area ahead of time and scout out potential wedding venues. Don't forget to ask about special rates for wedding packages.

* Pick your favorite winery and the specific location for your nuptials. You have a variety of choices ranging from gazebos overlooking the vineyards to romantic indoor settings.

* Consider booking lodging at the winery for your wedding party and guests. Some wineries will allow you to have exclusive use of the property if you book all the rooms.

* Most locations have a wedding coordinator who can be very helpful in assisting you with all the details for your special day.

* Think about getting wedding favors that tie in with a winery theme. Some fun ideas: wine bottle toppers, wine glasses or even wine if you want to splurge!
