3 Ways To Incorporate Radiant Orchid Into Your Wedding Cake

Last week, Pantone revealed it's 2014 color of the year -- radiant orchid! It's a "captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple, and pink undertones," according to a press release. With three colors combined into one, that means there's a plethora of ways to use it inside and out of your wedding cake. Here's how: 

1. Fresh Orchids - Luckily, orchids are in seaon year-round, so you can choose between varieties such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, vandas, and mokara. 

2. Ombre Frosting - Whether it's fondant or buttercream, have each tier trail from light to dark. 

3. Fruity Flavors - Some of our favorite secret cake baker's flavors are champagne and three berry, lemon and passion fruit and wild strawberry with vanilla bean mascarpone.
