From PW'er tglover:

Paper flowers from coffee filters?  You'd better believe it!

You will need:

Regular coffee filters

Scissors

Coat hanger

Wire cutters

Regular tape

Floral tape

Step 1: Uncoil the hanger’s hook, cutting off about 1/3 of the wire

Step 2: Twist hook into a loop (this will be the center of the flower but doesn’t show. Try to flatten as much as possible.

Step 3: Take 10-15 coffee filters, don’t separate them.  Using the folds as a line, cut down the center of each fold around entire filter

Step 4: Poke a small hole through the center of the filters

Step 5: Taking one of the “petals,” fold it in half, then cut in a V shape.  Cut each petal out this way.

Step 6:  Separate all of the filters.  Thread each filter one at a time on the coat hanger, scrunching the petals around the outside of the hanger loop.

Step 7: Tape the bottom of the filters to keep them from sliding off, then finish off with floral tape around the hanger

**TIP**pinching the bottom of the filters will help the finished product look more real.

**ALTERNATE FLOWERS**

Rounded petals, no cuts, and mini muffin cups!
