"We go geo-caching (super fun!)  But usually we're @ home types.  We don't get a lot of time alone (10 year olds are nosy!) so even TV and dinner is good. lol"
~TrickyNik

"Have you guys been to The Melting Pot?  Kinda expensive but SOOOO good and so romantic!  Is there one in your neck of the woods?"
~wildfirej29

"We pack a lunch and some wine and go to the Muny-which is an outdoor theater in St. Louis.  They put on great Broadway shows and you can just sit in the grass on a blanket, like a picnic, or in the stands.

And I know this isn't for everyone but we love to golf together.  It's really relaxing and golf courses are always so beautiful.  Playing any sport together is fun though---tennis, raquetball, heck even go carts!"

"since we're saving money our fav thing to do now (when we get time) is to go to starbucks and have a drink and just sit there and talk. its nice cuz its like we just started dating because we still learn things about each other lol. i LOVE it. but when we werent saving for a wedding, we like to go to dinner and then out for some drinks. Also if we stay at home we like to play uno and drink some wine and watch movies. those are my favorite!

My favorite was when we lived in FL and lived about 25 min from Clearwater Beach and on a nice night we'd get a bottle of wine and go sit at the beach for a bit. It was awesome when the sky was full of stars!! Oh how I miss those days lol"

"Usually we go to a sushi bar :)

Also, we wanna go to whole foods market, pick  different type of foods, and have a candle light dinner at home :) I think it's gonna be fun because you can try different type of foods."

"we love to go the movies and out to dinner-the usuals. we also like to go to go get ice cream or coffee or dessert somewhere. we've gone to the trivia night at a local bar a few times. during christmas time we like to go ride around and look at christmas lights. oh and we love to have games night where we play cards or scrabble or something. or we also love to watch the tv show lost-we're kind of obsessed so we also have "lost" nights where we'll watch a lot of episodes or old seasons"

"I love coming home from work - no t.v. and just turn on some music and have a delicious dinner and chit chat....these are my favourite nights :)

We like going rollerblading in the summer...or just walk along the lake and stop for a drink (or 4...hehe)."

"ooh! We once did a scavenger hunt date! =) I had FI write down a list of 10 items. After he wrote down his items, we went on our "hunt". The only rule was we couldn't find anything in the house. For example: he wrote "tampons", and we couldn't use the ones in the house. We took pictures of every item as proof. We ended up going to the mall, out to eat, and bowling - all for the hunt, but we got some major fun out of it! =D Definitely my favorite.

"FI & I usually have a dinner date. "when we do we try new places we never been" we also do the dinner date night at home which is cooking & wii. Theres the spur of the moment day trips."beach, snow, mountains, going to S.f "

I think the one date night  we do the most is, the drive ins...lol we get pizza or food & go to the drive ins sit under blankets & cuddle.

here some ideas: bowling, pool hall, minni golf. beach days Or romantic sunsets. movies, drive ins, maybe Dancing. going to baseball or football game.

1 of my fav we go to the good guys car show , maybe the fair, a carnival."

"picnics! (in the woods near our home)
home theater-- we don't have one...we make one!  we don't use the couches...we blow up the mattress on the living room floor, get tons of blankets and pillows, and curl up and watch a couple movies.  it's super fun and different.  and of course we need popcorn. :)"

"- hiking (sometimes we'll pack a lunch or some snacks)
- take a bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers and head out to watch the sunset on his boat
- dinner and a movie
- stay in and play games or put a puzzle together and make chocolate fondue *yum*
- we like to watch for "Tour of Homes" where a community has like 10 houses on a home tour.  It's a great way to get ideas for things we want to do in our house and usually a portion of the ticket price is going to a charity :-)
- concert or movie in the park (those are free and we'll pack dinner or snacks to take with us!)
- walk around the lake
- play a game of tennis or golf or go bowling
- tour winery
- attend sporting events whether it's local high school football or professional basketball or whatever :-)
- browse antique/thrift/junk stores.  It's actually been great cause it brings back lots of memories from things we played with in our childhood or that our moms or dads had in our homes and we share the stories with each other :-)
- One thing I really want to do is find a local cooking school and take a cooking class together.  We both love to cook and it would be fun to learn a new dish or two together :-)"

We made sushi rolls and Japanese cuisine, ate to candlelight and music...danced a bit and then retired to the bedroom for a movie and a shared slice of cheesecake.

Affordable, memorable, fun, sweet and laid back...AND just as sexy as you feel like making it ;)"
