Asian weddings are lavish and elegant events that celebrate the bonds of holy matrimony. While traditional in nature, these nuptial ceremonies can either be simple or large scale extravaganzas. Whether in India, or across the U.S. and UK, weddings are time to rejoice in mass celebrations for all loved ones and guests. Suffice to say, everything has to be near perfect to secure a smooth flow and cherished memories. This includes the wedding dress and groom’s apparel, along with reception catering, cake, entertainment, and especially photography.
Wedding photos and videos are memorable tokens and souvenirs of your special day. As a result, they have to be professional and spot on at all times. With years of extensive industry experience, wedding photographers have the tools and expertise to capture the allure and essence of your Asian wedding. From photos of the bride and groom to family members and loved ones, they specialise in capturing those special moments that will be cherished for generations to come. When it comes to capturing the best key moments of your Asian wedding, experts recommend a blend of shots and stills. Since most Asian weddings are synonymous with mass crowds and music, finding a secluded place in the hall or banquet room is essential for clean and compelling images. In fact, photos taken alongside elegant floral arrangements with sufficient lighting guarantees to spotlight the newlyweds like no other.
Family and Guest Portraits
Families are the cornerstone of any successful Asian marriage. As a result, they must be included in wedding and reception portraits. Wedding photographers specialise in taking shots from all different angles and views. They also use a smooth blend of black and white and color images to effectively capture the moment. As always, your wedding photography team will organise the shots based around the couple. In any Asian wedding, the bride and groom are considered royalty. Therefore, they are treated like maharanis and maharajas on their special day. Photographers, however, also accept requests for special shots, as well as poses and especially group photo opportunities.
Cameras and Equipment
When it comes to capturing the best key moments of your Asian Wedding, the cameras and equipment must be of high caliber. Local wedding photographers utilise a myriad of top brands and components to ensure timely and quality results. This includes high-speed cameras, along with digital and stationary units. They also showcase the best conversion applications for wedding CDs, DVDs, and other media related discs. As part of a comprehensive wedding services package, photographers also feature the best video cameras for the event as well. All it takes is a simple consultation to put your wedding and reception photos ideas into fruition. Since they need your business, most photography studios are even willing to meet your budgetary concerns and rates.
Rates and Services
Wedding planning is never an easy feat. In fact, it’s a tedious and time-consuming task for most couples and families. The cost of planning an intricate Asian wedding can be expensive as well. To facilitate newlywed needs, most photographers and video-graphers offer promotional discounts and specials. They understand the costs associated with Asian weddings, and are willing to meet your rates. Since most weddings of any culture incur out of pocket expenses, you simply need to let the photographer know about your financial constraints. He or she will work with you to set up an easy and affordable payment plan. If looking for professional wedding photography services, go no further than The Event Guru. They will truly meet your wedding and reception needs within time and budget.

We love this fun, unique way to display flowers at your wedding reception!
Ingredients:Drawer (I chose a white one. It makes the colors of the flowers “pop”!) Potted Plants Flowers of your choice (I chose Ranunculus in pastel colors) Bud Vases (use different shapes and sizes and get creative)
Cut the stems of the ranunculus or the flowers of your choice and place them in the water filled bud vases.
Next place the potted plants in the drawer of the dresser. You don’t have to remove the plants of the pots. The dresser that I used only had a top drawer, but if you dresser has a second drawer, fill it with the potted as well. Note, I watered the potted plants the day before the project, so there wouldn’t be any water leakage from the pots.

When planning to hold a wedding party today, the thought of a wedding DJ will rarely miss on your mind. Unlike in past wedding ceremonies, packed with dull old wedding songs, today’s wedding parties are specially and carefully planned. It is a complete revolution coupled with sophisticated, up-to-date features including hiring a special wedding DJ. The DJ will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flowing of the event, including directing the selection of the songs to be played. A Wedding DJ is professionally trained to entertain the wedding reception.
Getting the best DJ for your wedding gig, however, can be a long and tiring task, especially if you are looking for them via their websites. Everyone wants their wedding to be the most memorable and an issue of taking risks with unknown Wedding DJ is undesirable. There is need to know the best wedding DJ in Perth online.
Before the day of your wedding, you can opt to ask the potential DJ to submit their demo mixes for review. In this way, you will have the right platform to choose the best among them all and eventually list them for the job. They must offer a detailed list of the songs to be included in their playing list to avoid any mishaps and playing boring songs.
This profession requires a lot of experience, especially handling different types of weddings. An ideal wedding DJ should have a good track record, preferably spanning over the years. Unlike a club DJ, doing song mixing at a wedding is very critical especially for the song choice and treatment of the wedding guests.
No one would love to hire an outdated wedding DJ in their party. Although an experienced gig DJ can be sure to keep your guests thrilled all through, the equipment used must be up-to-date. You can choose to inquire about their primary equipment while reviewing them.
Reviews and referrals
An excellent review is very powerful in determining the overall DJ for your wedding. If you get a number of pleasant comments and suggestions online, it means that the DJ can comfortably handle your party. You can seek a referral from known wedding planners or even your friends. Alternatively, the prospective DJ can be requested to present a detailed review and rating of its past events and clients.
Some DJ firms consider doing a trial event before the very day of the wedding so as to justify their skills. You can, therefore, call them for a meeting so as to sample their mixes prior to the wedding. They will have the opportunity to interact with other wedding planners to ensure overall success of the wedding.
Not all DJ companies will offer a master of ceremony for the wedding besides being a DJ. While a professional DJ should be able to keep the party lively, having an experienced one is an additional one.
Cost of gracing the wedding party
Although the wedding is yet to take place, it will be desirable to agree on, among other terms, the amount paid for the event. This can be done when you have chosen the best person for the job with payments, agreed on a particular date too. Sometimes, there are individual overtime charges, going past the agreed period, too.
When all these factors have been considered, it can be easier to find a good wedding DJ for your party. DJ Avi does lots of weddings all year round and can be a perfect firm to handle your party too.

Crafty spring brides - this one is for you! Here's how to arrange a perfectly lovely springtime bouquet.
Ingredients:Tulips Ranunculus Geranium Leaves Dusty Miller Ribbon
First make certain all the stems are clean and prepared to design. Start off by using the geranium leaves and dusty miller to make the “foundation” for the bouquet.
Start with the tulips and criss-cross the stems while making certain you aren’t covering up the heads of the flowers. Repeat this process until you are happy with the look of the bouquet.
Secure the stems with floral tape.
Tie the ribbon of choice to hide the floral tape and cut the stems to even them out and there you have it!

Add a personal touch to your wedding invites with this simple but elegant DIY idea for watercolor envelope liners.
Materials:Envelopes Paper Pencil Glue dots Scissors Paint (plus water for thinning, if needed) Paintbrush
1. First, choose the envelope you'd like to use and pick a paper for the liner. Open the envelope and lay it flat on the liner paper. Trace the envelope on the liner paper. This is the initial shape that will be used as a guide for the actual liner.
2. Offset the envelope slightly below the initial tracing. This should be about a 1/2-inch internal margin to the tracing of the top flap. Trace the top flap. Now, create 1/8-inch internal margins on the right and left sides of the liner. Trace the sides of the envelope. You should now have a drawn shape that is similar to the shape of the flat envelope, just smaller.
3. Cut the shape out using the internal margins. Insert the liner into the envelope to check the sizing. Make any necessary tweaks. You can use this first liner as a template to create as many additional liners as you need.
4. After all the liners are cut out, you can paint them however you'd like. I diluted some acrylic paints and created an abstract watercolor effect for mine.
5. When your liners are fully dry, insert the liners into the envelopes and fold the liner to match the envelope fold. Use glue dots to adhere the liner to the envelope.
