    Repairing your Skin

Having a radiant, blemish-free face and a white smile before your wedding photos is something both men and women fret about. Here are some excellent ways to help with that process:

Whiten Your Smile: When getting ready for your wedding photos you should be prepared by slowly whitening your smile. Your teeth are very sensitive and so if you want to whiten your teeth you should do it little by little every day with whitening strips or whitening gel. Dreaded Acne: If you have pimples show up from stress then you can help get break down acne redness with eye drops. Eye drops contain agents that help clear up acne. Brighten your Skin: Best to do before bed cut a lemon in half and dip in salt. Slowly rub the lemon over your face. Lemon has active ingredients that will help brighten and lighten your skin while the salt will help you exfoliate and dead skin cells on your face. Once you’re done with the lemon and salt, wash everything off your face. Deal with Oily Skin: Use a peeling mask to help you get rid of impurities and any excess oil from your face. Moisturizing Daily: Keeping your face looking its best requires you to use a lotion with nutrients.  Also, by using a collagen mask every day will help bring like back into your face if it feels a bit dry.

Looking Fabulous in your Wedding Photos

You may have gotten your face free of blemishes and acne, and your smile is brighter than before but what about the wedding day itself? Here are some tips that will ensure you look your best.

Hire a Professional Wedding Photographer: Professional photographers are not like your friends and family that just tell you to smile. They are professionals for a reason and know the best positions and backgrounds you should be in to give you the best looking photographs for you to remember. A wedding photographer usually will offer an engagement session as well, and this will give them time to get to know you and what backgrounds and poses look best for you. Comfort: You want to be comfortable in your photos because sometimes it might take a while to get all the photos done. If you are wearing something that is making you uncomfortable your mood might show up in the pictures. Go Into the Light: Having well-lit pictures brings photographs alive and can add a lot of definition. The same goes for having a bright reception so the photographs taken can capture the celebration of your union.

  • When planning to hold a wedding party today, the thought of a wedding DJ will rarely miss on your mind. Unlike in past wedding ceremonies, packed with dull old wedding songs, today’s wedding parties are specially and carefully planned. It is a complete revolution coupled with sophisticated, up-to-date features including hiring a special wedding DJ. The DJ will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flowing of the event, including directing the selection of the songs to be played. A Wedding DJ is professionally trained to entertain the wedding reception.

Getting the best DJ for your wedding gig, however, can be a long and tiring task, especially if you are looking for them via their websites. Everyone wants their wedding to be the most memorable and an issue of taking risks with unknown Wedding DJ is undesirable. There is need to know the best wedding DJ in Perth online.

    Mix Review

Before the day of your wedding, you can opt to ask the potential DJ to submit their demo mixes for review. In this way, you will have the right platform to choose the best among them all and eventually list them for the job. They must offer a detailed list of the songs to be included in their playing list to avoid any mishaps and playing boring songs.

    Past experiences

This profession requires a lot of experience, especially handling different types of weddings. An ideal wedding DJ should have a good track record, preferably spanning over the years. Unlike a club DJ, doing song mixing at a wedding is very critical especially for the song choice and treatment of the wedding guests.

    Equipment used

No one would love to hire an outdated wedding DJ in their party. Although an experienced gig DJ can be sure to keep your guests thrilled all through, the equipment used must be up-to-date. You can choose to inquire about their primary equipment while reviewing them.

    Reviews and referrals

An excellent review is very powerful in determining the overall DJ for your wedding. If you get a number of pleasant comments and suggestions online, it means that the DJ can comfortably handle your party. You can seek a referral from known wedding planners or even your friends. Alternatively, the prospective DJ can be requested to present a detailed review and rating of its past events and clients.

    Additional training

Some DJ firms consider doing a trial event before the very day of the wedding so as to justify their skills. You can, therefore, call them for a meeting so as to sample their mixes prior to the wedding. They will have the opportunity to interact with other wedding planners to ensure overall success of the wedding.

    Additional services

Not all DJ companies will offer a master of ceremony for the wedding besides being a DJ. While a professional DJ should be able to keep the party lively, having an experienced one is an additional one.

Cost of gracing the wedding party

Although the wedding is yet to take place, it will be desirable to agree on, among other terms, the amount paid for the event. This can be done when you have chosen the best person for the job with payments, agreed on a particular date too. Sometimes, there are individual overtime charges, going past the agreed period, too.

When all these factors have been considered, it can be easier to find a good wedding DJ for your party. DJ Avi does lots of weddings all year round and can be a perfect firm to handle your party too.

Add a personal touch to your wedding invites with this simple but elegant DIY idea for watercolor envelope liners.

    Materials:

Envelopes Paper Pencil Glue dots Scissors Paint (plus water for thinning, if needed) Paintbrush

    How To:

    1. First, choose the envelope you'd like to use and pick a paper for the liner. Open the envelope and lay it flat on the liner paper. Trace the envelope on the liner paper. This is the initial shape that will be used as a guide for the actual liner.

    2. Offset the envelope slightly below the initial tracing.  This should be about a 1/2-inch internal margin to the tracing of the top flap. Trace the top flap. Now, create 1/8-inch internal margins on the right and left sides of the liner. Trace the sides of the envelope. You should now have a drawn shape that is similar to the shape of the flat envelope, just smaller.

    3. Cut the shape out using the internal margins. Insert the liner into the envelope to check the sizing. Make any necessary tweaks. You can use this first liner as a template to create as many additional liners as you need.

    4. After all the liners are cut out, you can paint them however you'd like. I diluted some acrylic paints and created an abstract watercolor effect for mine.

    5. When your liners are fully dry, insert the liners into the envelopes and fold the liner to match the envelope fold. Use glue dots to adhere the liner to the envelope.

    All set!

These cute, easy beverage accoutrements are perfect for cocktail hour at your wedding, bridal shower, dinner parties...the list goes on!

    Ingredients:

Edible Pansies (I purchased these from Terrain) Plastic Food Tray (I purchased this one from Displays2Go) Mini Ice Tray 6 Flat-Bottom Plastic Cups Designer Rocks or coins to fill the cups Beverage/Cocktail

    How To:

The night before the event, fill the ice trays with water and place 2-3 pansies on top and place in the freezer.

Next, place the plastic cups on the tray. I placed three on each side and place the rocks/coins in the cups to weigh them down.

Fill the tray with water until it’s about ½ inch deep. Note: if you are using water tap water, you should pre-boil it to keep the water from being cloudy. I used bottled water to avoid having to boil the water.

Next, place the pansies in the water and space them out to your liking.

Place in the freezer overnight. When ready to use the pansy tray, remove the tray from the freezer and remove the rock/coins from the plastic cups. Pour a little hot water in the cup to remove it from the tray. Next, place the prepared drinks with the pansy ice cubes on the tray and you are ready to serve. I added a few fresh pansies to the tray as well.

    There you have it!

Create custom favors for guests at your wedding with a gold embossed favor box idea, filled with your favorite treats. The embossed detailing will take inexpensive painted boxes to the next level. And you can even personalize the design by having a custom stamp made with your initials, wedding date, etc.

    Materials:

small to medium kraft boxes rubber stamps acrylic paint paint brush clear ink pad embossing powder embossing heat gun

    How To:

    1. Remove the lid from each kraft box and paint the base and lid with acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

    2. Next, gently tap the stamp over a clear ink pad, several times, making sure that the raised area of the stamp is completely covered in ink.

    3. Press the stamp evenly onto the top of the lid.

    4. Then, pour embossing powder over the stamped area.

    5. Remove the excess embossing powder and set the design with a heat gun.

  • Bright flashing lights. Pub signs. Hotel Vacancies. Las Vegas Casinos.

All sorts of images can pop into your head when you think about neon lights. But what about neon for weddings?

It can be hard to come up with original lighting and decoration concepts for weddings these days. With the rise of photo sharing apps and the likes of Pinterest, ideas are quickly shared around as everyone wants to do something creative for their special day that hasn’t been done before.

So why not think about neon lighting?

It’s a new concept based on an old technique. Neon gas was first discovered by scientists William Ramsay and Morris Travers back in 1898 when it was a rare naturally occurring substance. In the early 1900s George Claude made the first neon sign. He combined electric gasses and passed them through an electric current to make colourful discharges. He then discovered he could twist the glass tubing which held the neon gas – creating the first neon signs.

The first modern neon lamp was put on display at the Paris Motor Show in 1910 – and the concept grew from there.

Fast forward to the 21st century and neon lighting is being revived once again and making another comeback. It had major commercialisation in the 40s, the 70s and now it’s back – but with a classier twist than just the old pub signs of days gone by.

Neon lighting is eye catching, original, exciting and can add a personal touch to any wedding decor. Neon lights will give your guests something to remember you by.

Here are some great neon lighting ideas.

NAMES ENTWINED IN A NEON DISPLAY

A beautiful keepsake for years to come after your wedding. Get a customised neon light with your names lit up in a beautiful display. Or go a step further and have a neon light created of your faces!

A "JUST MARRIED" OR "I LOVE YOU" SIGN

Rather than banners, buntings and strings of fairy lights, be original with a neon sign to place above the bride and groom at the head table.

NEON LIGHTS FOR A LAS VEGAS THEMED WEDDING

If you love neon and can't get enough, why not have a Las Vegas themed wedding and light up the reception hall with all things neon? A great way to create an event with plenty of dazzle for all to remember.

RED HEART LIGHTS OR WEDDING BELLS

A romantic red heard or wedding bells are beautiful classy lights that can be created in neon for weddings. They can be hung on a major wall or at an entrance to welcome guests.

    DIRECTION SIGNS

Be original and create some neon lights with directions for guests about the various areas and amenities for your wedding. Signs pointing to the bar with a neon cocktail above it give an upbeat feel to any wedding.

    DANCE FLOOR

What better way to get people in the mood for dancing than with a neon-lit dance floor area! It helps create a nightclub feel - perfect to get everyone off the chairs and to bust out their best wedding dance moves.

The great thing about neon signs is they last for years – in fact the neon tube can stay illuminated for 10 to 20 years! It can be seen as a special investment and you can keep your sign as a constant reminder of your special day and the love you share.

Neon Creations can create any type of neon signs and neon lights to create a wedding to remember - and a special keepsake for years to come.

  • Brides and grooms want to remember the splendour of their wedding day and oftentimes, the only time they will wear their expensive gown. It is vital that wedding photographers in Melbourne captures every detail during the day, so the photographer puts a lot more preparation into the shoot. Here is a small behind the scenes look of a wedding photograph shoot.

    Research

The photographer is going to put a lot of time and effort into researching the shoot. The location the photographs are taken to the time of day that will offer the best lighting must all be decided before talking to the bride and groom. He/she will also want to make sure they research the type of wedding you are planning and any traditions that go with it.

    Talk to the Couple

When the photographer originally talks to the bride and groom, he/she is determining the type of style the couples prefer. The photographer wants to make sure the photographs showcase what the couple imagines when looking through wedding books. Some couples prefer black and white, while others are traditionalists. The only way to get into the mind of the couple is to set up appointments to talk with them.

When wedding photographers in Melbourne talk to their clients, they will be taking notes about the locations the couple dreams of. However, it is vital to jot down who they want photographed because photographers do not want to take pictures that will not land sales.

    Create a Workable Schedule

Everyone needs to be on the same page when it comes to time management. It is best if the photographer has a master schedule so he/she can figure out what time would be best to do portraits. These schedules are often made and then compared to other members of the wedding party in an arranged meeting prior to the wedding. It is important that the photographer know the timeline so no one is rushed in getting the perfect shot.

    Coordinate with Others for Assistance

Once you have the schedule that needs to be met, the photographer will coordinate with others to make sure the schedule is adhered to. Many wedding photographers in Melbourne will use assistants to help keep track of the people who need to be photographed and keeping everything on track. It is hard enough to make sure all of the photographs are taken, and the poses look perfect. So, assistants are often used to carry the equipment, holding light reflectors, and keeping track of the shots taken.

    Mental Game

Finally, wedding photographers in Melbourne are great at putting on a game face. Regardless of what has happened earlier in the day, they are ready to treat the bride and groom like royalty. It is imperative that they keep their cool because the stress levels that will be in the wedding party will be high. It is the wedding photographer's job to help keep an even keel. They plan for anything to go wrong so they have the ability to roll with the punches. This helps them create the perfect pictures for the memories you desire.

Next time you are looking to hire a wedding photographer, think about everything that goes into that photo shoot. They work around the clock to make sure the experience is pleasurable and you have pictures to keep for a lifetime. Professional wedding photographers in Melbourne such as Noble Photography love to see you happy, and make sure each couple is treated uniquely.

Add candy, cookies, or macarons and you have a unique wedding favor for guests to take home wit them.
