Akron Wedding

Glam On LocationI booked with Heather, owner of Glam on Location, in February 2011 for my wedding September 10, 2011. She seemed very nice and down to earth, she took my $100 deposit to hold the date and said she would contact me August for my trial run...it is now August 31 and after multiple messages, e-mails and a facebook comment, i still have not heard back from her. It is 10 days before my wedding and i have no idea if i have a hair and make-up stylist for my wedding day. Appearently professionalism is out the door along with common courtesy...a phone call is all i have been asking for, to let me know what is going on. Hopefully she reads this and at least has a conscious and can give me a call to let me know what is going on, this time is suppose to special and magical, but instead i am completely stressed out over this.

Bonnie's BloomersBonnie is fantastic! She has a great passion for her work, all of our flowers were amazing. She really did go above and beyond our expectations. Her prices are great, the flowers were fabulous and she was a joy to work with! I cannot say enough great things about her. I met with Bonnie twice, our initial meeting and once again to finalize everything. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were thrilled with everything.

Blue REV MediaI used a company based out of the Akron, OH area. From the moment I found their website I was captivated by their attention to detail. My first meeting with them was amazing. They were very knowledgeable and very understanding of my needs. This was the only vendor I actually hired for my wedding, as a lot of the planning I did on my own and my friend is a photographer. So all I needed was a good videographer. I would highly recommend using these guys. They were very professional and stayed in constant communication with me through the entire process. The DVD's were delivered 2 weeks early and I am still amazed at the quality of the final product.

Life's MomentsIt was a total disaster! You could never get a hold of anyone by phone and Cassie was slow to respond to e-mails. I was promised pictures in 4 weeks and the video in 8 weeks, it took 11 weeks to get the pictures and 13 weeks to get the video. The first set of pictures we ordered were all the wrong ones and they had to be reordered. The colouring of the pictures was extremley horrible. In a lot of pictures, everyone was extremely red or orange. The prints I got from walgreens were much better quality. I just had one problem after another after another with this company. As for the video, we were supposed to recieve 5 copies of our edited wedding and the original unedited video. Two of the five copies were bad and skipped alot. About 20 minutes of the unedited video skipped alot and they did not send us the entire unedited video recording. I am still working with them to try and solve these problems, 4 months later. It is not worth the headache, stress and problems. I have recieved no apologies even though they are well aware I am not happy with their service.

In recent years it has become popular for couples to let their guests make their own Blue by Enzoani Bridal Gown Akita favors by setting up a candy bar at the reception. But what is a candy bar and what should you include?
A candy bar is simply a table filled with various forms of confectionary such as candies and chocolates along with small bags or boxes for guests to help themselves. They make eye catching displays within the reception room and are great fun! But you do need to give them some careful planning and choose your confectionary carefully.
Firstly consider where you will site your candy bar within the room and the size of table you will need. Commonly tables will be long but you can make it work with round tables as well. Candy bars can potentially draw a crowd so think about where you place the table and how your guests will get to it. If you choose a round table then think about placing directional signs on it so your guests go around it in one direction - less chance of a mishap that way!
What confectionary will you include on your candy bar? Think about traditional confectionary based wedding favors such as mints, almonds, chocolates and candies. You can also add in cookies, cupcakes, nuts and more specialist confections which perhaps are traditional to your culture. Do not get too carried away here or you could end up with a surplus of sweet treats which will take years to get through!
Choose your confectionary with your Blue by Enzoani Bridal Gown Akron in mind, e.g. colors, themes and shapes. A candy bar of coordinating colored sweets looks amazing, but likewise a rainbow of colors can be just as pleasing. Do not forget your budget either - candies are very cheap to purchase wholesale but cookies and cupcakes will cost a lot more. You should also think about the time of year of your wedding and the potential for confectionary to melt or spoil.
Plan out how you will present your candies and confectionary and choose a range of vessels to put them in. These can include bottles, jars, bowls, stands, plates etc. Choosing vessels of varying heights will add interest to the display.
Finally, you will need to provide your guests with something to put their wedding favors in so they can take them home. Choose bags or boxes of a reasonable size (especially if you have a lot of candies) and add some small scoops to make it easy to transfer candies into the containers. Add a sign inviting your guests to help themselves and giving your thanks to them for joining you on your special day.

My name is Kim and I am 29. I live in Akron,Ohio(the home of Lebron James). Ihave been enagaed for 2 yrs. Bryen and I met a few yrs ago through a mutual friend and we have been together ever since. He is the better half of me. I have been waiting for him my entire life and I just could not be happier.
Now as far as the wedding day goes, our colors are burgundy and white. We wanted to have a big wedding but our money situation as changed things around a little. So we will be getting married at the Courthouse and we will have a big ass party afterward. All of money will go to our honeymoon that will be in Vegas. I would love to have huge wedding but when I first started planning the wedding, I realized it's alot of work and we do not have the money to hire a planner. We also came up with a wedding symbol which us a half sun and half moon, we will try to get the symbol on the napkins or the invites.

Hello! My name is kelly, i'm 28 and live in upstate NY (not the city! LOL)
My fiance and i met december of 2008 and it was love then, and It's only grown since! I used to joke with my friends that all i want is a good ol boy with a pick up truck and a dairy farm and some old cars. Well i found him! My jaw dropped when we got talking and i realized this was it, and i just knew god had blessed me with everything i'd ever wanted. So..... We love motorcycling, we were on a bike trip in Akron when he popped the question! and that will be incorporated into our wedding.
