Uptown Bridal & BoutiqueLove, Love, Love, Uptown Bridal!!!!!The experience of wedding dress shopping made me so nervous. Tanya worked with me and helped me find my perfect dress. My husband could not stop complimenting me on our wedding day and still tells me how absolutely beautiful I looked walking up the aisle to him. I couldn't thank Uptown Bridal more for making me a gorgeous bride on my special day. The boutique is absolutely wonderful and their staff and selection are amazing. I would highly recommend Uptown Bridal to anyone and everyone I know or talk to.

Rev. RickThis guy is awesome!! He was perfect for us. I forgot about the officiant part of the wedding until 3 weeks before and I was so nervous because it was "wedding season". I called Rick, he responded immediately, saved our date and everything was good to go! Our ceremony was just what we wanted, short and sweet. Rick added a few little touches here and there that lightened the mood and just made everything perfect. He was everything I could have asked for in a officiant!! The best around for your special day!

Dolce Salon & SpaOn New Years Day one of my best friends got married and all of the bridalparty got their hair done at Dolce. I was hesitant at first to spend themoney on an updo, but in the end I was so happy I decided to do it! Mystylist listened to what my vision was and then gave me something that waseven better! I loved the way my hair looked, and I loved that while it wasdefidenlty special for the wedding, I didn't look like I was heading toprom! All four of us, including the bride, had so much fun chatting withthe stylist and getting prepared for the big day. It was awsome howexcited all the staff at Dolce was for her wedding, and how they all madesure that the day was relaxing and special for us! Thanks so much for sucha good experience! Leah Asuncion

Dolce Salon & SpaWhen I went in for my trial, I didn't LOVE the make-up and hair. But when I had my day of services, I was amazed at how great it all looked. I had my nails, maek-up and hair done there and we rented the Bridal Suite. It was a fabulous day for everyone. I think my entire bridal party felt like royalty being treated so well. They did a great job. I had girls with super short hair and really long hair and they were able to do styles that suited them. I didnt love my mom's hair at first (the stylist did what my mom had asked for), so the stylist changed a few things and she looked amazing when she was done. I love my nails so much that I am keeping them for as long as I can!! I highly recommend Dolce for your wedding beauty!

Couture Candy CoRachel of Couture Candy Co helped us create a retro inspired candy buffet that was the hit of our 50's inspired wedding! We were given the opportunity to be creatively involved in our buffet, but with all of the other wedding details, we chose to give Rachel complete creative control...and she delivered! We picked the candy, Rachel did the rest! We were pleasantly surprised with all of the little details that made the table look like a tasty work of art. Couture Candy was there to set up early enough for our photographers to get "detail" photos as well as there to pack up and have the excess candy sent to our suite. Couture Candy Co was so easy to work with and highly recommended

EVER? FI and I were discussing this the other day there are really so many options so I am wondering who your favorites are??

I don't know if people actually go through this but I know that I have concerns about taking pictures...what I mean by that is I am not photogenic and I try to avoid pics...maybe I am selfconcious about my looks because of my age. Recently I have been trying to stay away from people taking pictures and the ones that have caught me well lets just say I want to cry....
I guess what I am trying to ask is there anyone other than me that hopes like hell the photographers know what they are doing?????

My fiance, Mike, and I met in 2005 after I had graduated college and finished an internship. I started working as a event and banquet manager at a restaurant where he was the bar manager. It was actually a place that I worked all through high school and when I came home from college on breaks. Mike had also worked for the same company, but a different location, during the same time period and we never met. We were friends for a few monthes and it soon became much more.
I knew we would be getting engaged soon ( I thought by the end of 2008) but Mike totally surprised me on April 18th. He had called me at work during the day and said that his brother had asked us to babysit their two kids that night and the next morning. Mike asked that I call him on my way home from work so he could tell his brother when to drop the kids off. Being totally oblivious to anything I called Mike on my way home and looked forward to a night with my two favorite kids. As I pulled into our condo I noticed the shades were closed in the kitchen...'Weird!' I thought to myself, I never close the shades in the kitchen. I wrote it off to Mike probably broke something and didn't want me to freak out when I pulled in. When I opened the door to our condo I was shocked, everywhere you looked there were rose petals, vases of flowers and candles. I immediately thought that it looked like the epdisode of friends were Monica proposes to Chandler and vice versa. I gasped and called Mikes name. He was waiting for me with the ring and asked and through tears, laughter and the typical 'are you serious?' questions.
We will be married on September 19, 2009 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The theme of our wedding is family. We are using photos of Mike and I as part of our table numbers and we have a table with pictures of old family weddings going back four generations. This theme will also be played up with our name cards, and with the photo booth that we will have for guests to use.

Mateus Kotok is a gifted and versatile artist, a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and founder of Indi Script Records. His 2003 solo album, Indi Script, is an indescribably eclectic CD written, performed, and recorded entirely by him. Even the paintings that grace its cover are his. Playing guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and percussion, Mateus creates positive, eminently danceable grooves to accompany his dreamlike lyrics.
Mateus lives on the Hawaiian island of Maui, where he is given inspiration from the beauty and serenity of the environment that surrounds him and from the many talented musicians with whom he collaborates. His current bands play live in Maui.
Influenced by Bob Marley, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Toy Dolls, Fear, and Bad Brains together with sounds as diverse as Mozart and Motown, he listens to hip-hop artists like Goody Mob and Dead Prez Eastern Bellydance and many other types of music.
Born in Ogden, Utah, in 1971, Mateus Kotok has a performer’s pedigree. His mother Judy is an actress who sent him to acting school and found television work for him when he was a child. His father Nick is a bluegrass musician who recorded for Capitol Records in the 1960s. He provided young Mateus with a wide variety of instruments and ample encouragement. As a high school graduation present, he gifted Mateus’ first solo record, an album by his punk band Drastic Measures.
Moving to Seattle in 1990, Mateus spent ten years working and performing amid the music scene there. After his alternative band MindSpice released a self-titled CD in 1992, he was approached by Atlantic Records but, true to his independent nature, he declined their offer so as to preserve artistic control. While in Seattle, Mateus recorded with and learned from such musical friends as Brian StingShark, Kaya, Wailers nayahbhingi drummer Ras Menelik and P-Funk keyboardist Uzziel Levvi, in addition to blues rocker Geoff Krauss, ragga star Rocker T, songwriter and dub artist Somesh, and ADX.
Mateus relocated to Maui in the year 1999. He is looking forward to working with many more new and established artists and to traveling and performing both in the United States and internationally. Please contact Indi Script Records for information about booking and CD distribution.
Mateus Kotok has 18 all original personal record albums of a variety of styles of music. To hear samples of his music go to his myspace page and link to his top friends. Each record album has Mateus Kotok’s all original art and music. Mateus has produced music professionally since 1999 and is owner of Indiscript Records.

We got engaged July 4th 2008 and I've just started to plan my wedding. The wedding date has been set to August 22, 2009. I'm planning a downtown theme wedding at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles. So I am planning to make it a modern/contemporary event. It is going to be a korean/american wedding with about 160 guests and I'm already feeling a bit overwhelmed with the planning.
On the other hand, I'm excited and looking forward to celebrating the big day with my family&friends.
So here it goes...
