We hosted our wedding here back in November. It was absolutely magical. The setting was gorgeous with mountains in the background. They have a lovely patio and since the weather was getting a bit chilly they lit the stone fireplace outside. The reception room easily held our 200+ guests and allowed for adequate room for food and dancing. The owner is quite helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the Charlottesville/Staunton or surrounding areas. Great find.

The UVA chapel is absolutely beautiful and makes a wonderful setting for your wedding. You can choose the officiant of your choice and are not bound by any specific religious traditions. If you are a UVA alumni or student, you get a discount. The chapel is located on UVA grounds near the center of Charlottesville, close to many reception venues. We loved having our wedding there.

We really enjoyed our rehearsal dinner at the Omni in Charlottesville. They were extremely flexible and helpful as we tried to find a menu that met our taste, budget, and dietary needs. The food was delicious and the room looked great.

Jason and Tammy provide exceptional photography services and beautiful photo products. They are one of the only photographers we found who allow you to have digital copies of all photos taken without having to buy prints. They also don't price their services per hour - they were there from the beginning to the end of the day, capturing every moment. They are fun people to be around, and by the end of the wedding we felt as though they were our friends as well as our photographers. The pictures are beautiful, we can't stop looking at them. Jason and Tammy use a photojournalistic style, and catch the small unscripted moments rather than making everyone pose the whole time. They are creative and professional, and really love what they do. We are so happy with our decision and we can't wait to get our photo album from the wedding back (our wedding was just a couple weeks ago). I would highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

Harvest Moon catering in Charlottesville provided high quality services at a more reasonable rate than many other Charlottesville caterers that I researched. Harvest Moon was very flexible and willing to work with the menu and budget that we proposed. Their food was delicious and we got many compliments on it. Harvest Moon staff made our every idea come true, and most of the time had suggestions that made the day even better! They thought of and took care of everything, right down to the basket of leftovers for my husband and I to take back to our hotel room that night. We would not change anything about their services. Staff members were always extremely professional and helpful, and did everything possible to make our day perfect. Harvest Moon also strives to use local and organic food, and donates leftovers to community members in need whenever possible. They are a conscientious and responsible organization. I highly recommend this company.

“ If you are term/overdue. . .yummy! ”

I know there is a BUNCH of us either overdue, near term, or at term.

They were talking about these on the radio this morning - apparently this cupcake has helped 19 overdue pregnant women go into labor - it's from a cupcake shop in Virginia, but I'm sure we could all whip up a batch of these ourselves!

If nothing else, it's a great excuse to eat a cupcake. . .lol!

They are poundcake with lemon buttercream.  Um. . .yes please.

I know there is photo 3094347-1

Enjoy ladies! ! !

And just in case, here is a recipe I found:
