Party Reflections Raleigh/DurhamGreat selction, staff and price!! I had heard about other rental companies showing up late, tents falling over and it worried me greatly. I used Party Relfections because I couldn't find anyone with anything bad to say about them. My wedding was amazing!!! My tent was up in no time, all of my linens were clean and pressed, my flatware was spotless and they even gave me a drawing of my event layout based on my specifications for free, so I knew exactly what to expect. That helped a lot with the seating chart. I called a zillion times with questions and they were always happy to help me. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride because I know you won't have to worry with them.

Custom PrintablesValerie was wonderful to work with. She helped me creating the look and design I was trying to find for wedding invitations and RSVPs. She answered questions quickly and was very helpful in re-formting my design. I would FOR SURE use Custom Printables again!!!

Make-up Art by JennySo I live in San Diego but had my wedding in Cary, NC. Hardest part about having my wedding out of town was finding a good makeup and hair artist. After numerous trials and trips to NC, I finally found Jenny! She was perfect and all of the moms and bridesmaids loved her. I would highly recommend her for makeup!!

So I tried to break down the cost of each thing because I know it is helpful to sort of cost compare like-to-like things. But I have to say this vendor is hands-down amazing. I gave almost no direction at all. I basically told Rachael: I disliked greenery. I wanted trailing ribbons on the bouquets. I wanted them to fit in with the "southern picnic" vibe our wedding had. And these are the colors I want: yellow, white and hints of blue.
What they gave more than exceeded my expectations!! Before the wedding, so many people told me that no one ever notices flowers, so it doesn't matter what's there but I received so many compliments on them from our guests. Everyone said they were just beautiful and just so ME. The florist did a great job of reading my personality and making everything fit perfectly with the feel of the wedding. When I saw our flowers and our centerpieces, I was blown away. I would not have changed anything about them.
With the bouquets, you could tell everything was carefully arranged. The bouquets were symmetrical and the flowers looked well spaced out, like someone had thought about where everything should go rather than just pushing things willy-nilly. They also did a great job of combining elements together, so that nothing was exactly the same but they all looked like they went together.
It was all beautifully, tastefully, wonderfully done. Many people have asked who our florist was and I have recommended them far and wide to everyone. I will continue to do so because I think their work is outstanding. I cannot say enough nice things about them.
PS. The one thing I would say is, as an out-of-town bride, it was sometimes hard to get in touch with them. It didn't really bother me but it might bother some people who expect faster communication.

Say cheese!
Our engagement photographer was the exceptionally talented Lina Jarmond. She specializes in newborn, baby, child, and maternity photography but was willing to indulge my request for an engagement shoot. I could tell from her website that she had the eye, the creativity, and the artsy look I wanted. I also just adored her personality; she's spunky and fun and we had a blast taking the pictures. She even embraced my request to bring along the pooch. After a lot of back and forth, we decided to go with the urban backdrop of downtown Durham. I think it was the right decision- as I adore how they came out!

Darren and I are planning a large family wedding, with a blue theme. I want flowers that brighten up the blue colours so have decided on hot pink to contrast the bridesmaid dresses.

I recently got engaged to the man i have loved for a long time. We've been together nearly seven years now, in fact by the time the wedding eventually comes around, it'l be 8 1/2 years that we've been together, not bad, considering we're both still quite young!
