Bridal Warehouse, Inc.While I did not spend money at this particular store, I didn find the associates to be very helpful and friendly. The lady who was my attendant, Brandy, was very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. She was willing to listen and suggest, which is a happy medium to find. She spent all the time with me and was very interested and devoted to finding the right dress for me. The dressing rooms are very roomy and comfortable and they have a sitting bench for others who are not helping you dress. They have nice dresses and an abundance to choose from. I liked this shopping experience.

Bauerhaus \u0026 Bauerhaus CateringBased in Evansville, IN. They have been SOOOO easy to work with!! Brooke was very prompt to return emails and phone calls and we met with her once to set up the menu and go over everything. I will probably only speak to her one other time before the wedding, and I feel completely comfortable that everything will be taken care of. There pricing is beyond reasonable as well!!

Hi, I am from Evansville Indiana. I am debating whether it would be better to hire a decorator or do it all myself. From experience do you girls think you save much more money doing it yourself ? Is there anything that you wish you would have hired someone to do ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just got back from my cousin's wedding in the mid west (Southern Illinois)- what a blast! Weddings are VERY different out there in comparison to NY/NJ area and there were so many little touches that made the whole day so special. Just to
name a few, I loved how their did their receiving line- they greeted everyone one pew at a time which allowed everyone to stay seated in the air conditioning (it was 95 degrees!), and moved the whole thing along very smoothly! They also did this
"Dollar Dance" tradition where everyone lines up to dance with either the groom or bride and pays $1 (or whatever you want) to help pay for their honeymoon.

Maybe I am naive, but I have never heard of B-Pics until I stumbled upon this website. I am not sure if my photographer would actually do it? What exactly does it entail, etc? Any advice for it? I think my FI would love it, but I am not sure who would take the picture for me. Our engagement photographer, I highly doubt would take them.

Evansville Wedding Bios
The venue we chose for our reception, requires a lot of rental on our part. So a couple weekeds ago, my mother, Matthew's mother, and my florist went to TRU Rental in Evansville to get a game plan together for the wedding. Here are some of the selections we chose:
We are renting these white chairs for everyone. The head table and parent table will have these sashes with a peacock feather and possibly some type of broach on each chair. The sash color will be the same as the table runners and napkins, which is pictured below.
This is the dinnerware we have chosen for the tables. It was ivory with a gold rim to match the gold chargers we already have. We are going to do the long folded napkin with some type of favor on the plate. The color of the napkin is a rust color and the chair sashes and the table runners will be the same color.
Here is a picture of the vases on the color of the table runners. It is going to look great! We are also renting small disks that light up to illuminate the vases on the tables.

After 6 hours of decision making at Pen Pals Stationary Shoppe ( http://www.penpalsstationeryshoppe.com/ ) in Evansville, Indiana, we made a final selection of an invitation. We ended up going with Envelopments ( http://www.envelopments.com/ ). I highly recommend this paper company. The paper is amazing!! We orded all the paper through Pen Pals, but in order to save money we are assembling the invites ourselves...very difficult...I would not recommend unless you are crafty or know someone who knows what they are doing...this is the 3rd wedding in a year for my family, so we are old pros now :-) Here are the pictures of what we chose and the final product...
Outside of the gate card. We used glue dots to adhere the peacock feather to the cardstock card....they hold really well!
Another view....each peacock feather was different, so each invitation has to be carefully assembled in order to get the peacock feather to lay pretty.
Inside of the invitation...They turned out better than I could have imagined! Sorry the picture is dark...my camera is terrible!
Better view of the print...
This is Regalia in Tusk ( http://www.envelopments.com/productsandservices/colors/patterns/119/Regalia.aspx )
The RSVP card....with an envelope to match the inner and outer larger envelopes...
The Reception card...
All the pieces, minus the envelopes...my sister Kelly is doing the calligraphy on all the inner and outer envelopes she is working diligently to get them finished in time!
This is only 108 of the 240 invitations that will go out...Lots of work still to do!
One of the inner envelopes....we had to go with Carlson Craft ( http://www.carlsoncraft.com/ ) for the envelopes because Envelopments does not offer and inner and outer envelope. They match just fine!

I also make candles and wedding bo's and Groomsmen flowers. The flowers are made of thin birch wood. After the wedding you can spray them with a fragrance oil and they will smell. You just add fragrance oil every 30 days. Just do not over soak them.
The candles are in water glasses with 3 colors and 3 different scents or you cna get them unscented. They have a dollip and a cherry on top but you cna choose to leave these off.
I have pictures of everything I make in my bio page. I take great pride in everything I make. I will only make the type of product I would purchase myself. So you can rest assured that you will get a great product fro me.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. There is no job to small or to big. I just need a few months notice if you will be needing a large amount. Everything I make can been made in a few months ahead of time,. Everything can be kept froen to the day of the wedding. I like to send the chocolate items in the fall and in the spring.
