Cothran's BakeryMy mother in law ordered our grooms cake from Cothran's. They didn't give us what we asked for, it looked awful, and it was over priced for what it was. I was disgusted when I walked into my reception and saw the cake. It was a special order that I had asked for for my husband. Everyone kept asking what it was. That cake was supposed to be a stand out center piece. It was stand out all right, but not because it was well done. I thank God that I ordered my bridal cake from somewhere else. I will never use Cothran's again and do not recommend it to anyone wanting a specialty cake. There cakes taste delicious but that is all I have to say for them. Don't order anything that isn't simple.

Gadsden Wedding Bios
At the time we were engaged, I was 22 and my fiance was 24. We started dating on January 27, 2008 and were engaged on December 12, 2008. My fiance proposed by a beautiful waterfall...it was perfect! We actually started planning our wedding about a week before we were engaged. We knew that we needed to go ahead and book the venue, photographer, and minister and set the date if we were going to get married in 6 months. The wedding was on June 20th, 2009, and it was an understatement to say that I could not wait to marry the man of dreams!
Here is where he proposed (Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama):
