Davids BridalWell where do I start. Dissappointment. Unprofessional staff. Ridiculous Managers who are fake and could care less about you. Alterations what a joke. I left my dress there in October and it wasnt ready in December, it had to be redone. Does anyone know what they are doing there. I bought the dress this summer. The Alterations Manager at that time helped me so much it was the only reason I bought the dress. But when I came in for alterations she was no longer there and the replacement didnt have a clue!!! I will never refer anyone here I was so upset I cried when I left the store after picking up my dress. I have read the other reviews and why am I the only registered bride...everyone else is only a guest. are these real reviews?

Men's Wearhouse (Denver, CO)This review is for the MW store in Grand Junction, CO.
We used MW and had problems with them... first of all, we only rented vests and the ties - so you would think that would be easier right? wrong. Their software is setup for full tux rentals, so to do just vests and ties took some finagling...
We had a huge wedding party (13 rentals) and everyone was very spread out, some of the guys work in the oil fields for months at a time, so getting everyone's measurements was a pain - plus MW was snotty with me when I would just call in some of the guys measurements (the only one needed was the chest... it's not like rocket science or anything). In the end, almost everyone's vests fit great except for two of the guys (including the GROOM) and those two had actually gone in to MW and got measured by the staff...
Then, since we kind of had a destination wedding (3 hours away from the store) - we just picked up all the vests and ties at once and brought them to the location. MW didn't like that either, but what else were we supposed to do? One of my BMs picked them all up b/c I was already at our wedding location by the time they finally came in.
THEN one of the vests was missing a button, and they didn't provide any "spare parts" like most other places do...
The kicker was when I saw my brother in his vest 5 minutes before the ceremony... they put him in WHITE... DH was supposed to be the ONLY one in white!!!!! Totally almost caused a bridezilla moment. But at that point there wasn't diddleysquat I could do about it, plus my bro looked dashing anyway. But still...
So, I personally do not recommend them. But I think that 99% of it has to do with the local store and how it is managed. So if you find a good store, go for it! But if you have any issues right off the bat, I would avoid them like the plague.

Estilos II A SalonSammy, did an amazing job on my hair! My wedding was on a Sunday, and the salon is usually closed but she came in and did my hair anyways. The $100.00, covered both the practice-do and the day of the wedding! She did not rush me through either, she worked with me until I found a style I LOVED! I still go here to get my hair done:)

Victoria RoseThis store has great dresses and the employees are WONDERFUL. However, the owner is not the nicest person! I think she figures that since this is a one time event, if you find what you want then you won't go anywhere else. I would not recommend going here, unless you don't mind being treated badly!

Marc Foster WeddingsMarc was out of Grand Junction, CO. He was so nice and kind to us, talked to us on the phone before the big day and made sure he incorporated everything important to us. I was so nervous during the ceremony, but he kept looking at me with his sweet face and kind smile that it put me at ease and calmed me down. Well, as calm as I could possible be!

Well, it's not quite an aisle YET! Yesterday, FH and I took some line stake and marked out where the aisle will be - my dad is going to go over it and around it with a lawnmower LOL, he's so helpful!
(that's me, I look so far away LOL)

I need your help - the Sephora near me doesn't have Make Up Forever in store so I have to order it online.
But I'm not sure what shade to get? What shade do you use?
I was using Laura Mercier foundation in Sunny Beige, but it is proving to not be mattifying enough. :(

OK ladies, since we have a lot of newbies here lately, I thought it would be great if all the brides posted a photo of themselves & FI or DH, a little blurb about yourself and a link to your bio.
I'm not engaged so I'm not much fun :D but for those of you who DON'T know me, I'm Lori, Community Manager for Project Wedding. I love weddings (have worked in the wedding biz for the better part of a decade) so I really, REALLY enjoy seeing everyone's weddings come together here and on our sister site, Weddingbee.
Who's next? Say hello!

Oh no!
I just found out that there is another wedding happening in our hometown the same weekend as ours!
In a normal town this wouldn't be an issue, but our town is so rinky-dinky (population 400). I guess some of the hotel rooms are starting to fill up with guests from the other wedding - which is not good b/c there aren't alot to start with.
I would have blocked out rooms, but unfortunately things don't operate the same there as they do in the rest of the world...
So I'm putting the word out to my out of town guests that I know need rooms (most guests have freinds or family that they are staying with) to get off their asses and book now if they haven't already LOL.
:-/
Ugh. What a PIA. This town ain't big enough for the both of us!

So there's a blizzard right now, and its only supposed to get worse as the day goes on. I called my job and told them I can't even get my car outta the driveway (I'm supposed to be there in 30 minutes) and the manager said "dig it out and come in to work" I'm like what in the heck is your problem I'm probably going to end up in a ditch on the way to work and won't make it there anyway!
@$$hole! Just shows how crazy colorado is. 80 degrees this past weekend, and now we're looking at up to 4 feet of snow!
