I am sooooo frustrated with this company!!!! It has passed the 5 month mark since my wedding and they have stopped answering e-mails and phone calls!! I still do not have my wedding photographs nor any kind of timeline when they might be accessible! I moved and my bridal DVD got destroyed and They will not answer me on whether or not I can get another copy?!?! Overall, this has just been a terrible decision on my part for signing a contract and entrusting this company with my special day. My husband is even in the military and would like our photos before deployment and they don't seem to care at all. Terrible please don't make the same mistake I did just because its a good price.

Marry Me In Colorado was a fabulous find for us in planning our destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. We're from Houston so we had to completely rely on Lorie and Kevin to help us plan our wedding. They did such a great job in attending to our wishes and the day went perfectly from beginning to end. The cake was probably the best wedding cake I've ever had. In fact, at least three of our guests asked us where the cake came from because it was also the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. Kevin officiated our wedding and he did a wonderful job. He took his time through the ceremony, was patient with us, and had a warm sense of humor that had everyone laughing at just the right moments during the ceremony. Overall, we had a great experience with Marry Me In Colorado and would recommend it to anyone, but especially someone from out of town looking for an all-inclusive package that eliminates unnecessary wedding stress!

Wedding dress was shopping was a fun magical experience, I went to several different bridal boutiques and they were all great but not as great as Winnie Couture. Winnie Couture is probably the most beautiful boutique I have been in, the décor is phenomenal. There are chandeliers and pretty colors of pink and gold that make it look glamorous. It’s absolutely breath taking. Now their dresses are even more glamorous, just stunning. I knew this was going to be the place. It was a beautiful location, their dresses are fabulous and my stylist was the sweetest. I had many dresses in my fitting room, it seemed like I had the entire boutique in there, I fell in love with almost all of them but I could only get one. It was definitely a hard decision, but my stylist was very helpful, she was 100% honest and told me if a dress didn’t look all that great on my figure. It made it a little easier by trying on my top 3 with heels and a veil so I could get a better feel and it worked. I knocked 2 out and found the one. The dress I picked is beyond beautiful, it’s definitely a princess dress and what I really loved is that I was able to customize it to make it more my own and unique. I literally found everything at Winnie Couture, from my dress, to shoes and a gorgeous veil.

HOUSTON BRIDES ~ NEED SOME ADVICE FROM YA'LL! ”

Hi Ladies,

Who here has or is going to take the marriageprep class at second baptist church in houston TX ( Ed Young's Church) ??? Was it worth the money or wasn't a total waste???

I saw this one description of the marriageprep class that got me to thinking about totally not taking it :

you will receive a certificate good for a free marriage license (a $72 value) in any county in the state of Texas (the new law was effective Sep. 1, 2008, under the Twogether in Texas initiative; nominal administration fees still apply in some counties).

SO with that in mind Y go & take that class if u are still going to have to be paying fees anyways!!!! ISn't it that u take the class get ur free marriage license so that U CAN SKIP ALL THE FEES IN THE BEGINING????

What do u girls think????

TIA Ladies,

Lu

Houston, we have a date!!! ” by niknchuck

Chuck wants a summer wedding...Chuck's getting a summer wedding-6/26/2010. I'm hoping we have a mild season next year like we are now.

                                                   Pre-Planning Our Wedding:

It took us a while to get in the groove of planning our wedding. Especially with the economy and cost of everything. We chose to find a reception site first, then book the church. A few people thought that was backwards but we did what worked best for our planning style. As of today, we have a reception site and church reserved. Now here comes the fun part... ideas, ideas, ideas

CEREMONY/RECEPTION Times: 4:30pm ceremony and 6pm reception

(Pre-planning) COLORS:first 3 colors, chocolate/champange/ivory are the base with the 5 others being accent colors through out-seen in the flowers, ribbon, accessories, attire, decor, etc. I'm not sure of the periwinkle though (color#7) we may delete that one and go with the others...what do you think?

Houston we have a date photo 1Houston we have a date photo 2Houston we have a date photo 3Houston we have a date photo 4Houston we have a date photo 5Houston we have a date photo 6Houston we have a date photo 7Houston we have a date photo 8

                                                            Our (My) Ideas:

He's on the fence with having a plated dinner or heavy hors d'oeuvres. We initially decided on having a cocktail reception because we want everyone to have fun and mingle a little. I've gone to several formal seated receptions and they weren't very sociable.

We have a preliminary guest list of about 140 people, including the wedding party. I'm sure the list will be cut because the venue's capacity is 120 seated; however, there's a huge patio the length of the building. So technically there's enough room for the 140 guests. I met with our wedding planner and we were able to come up with so many ideas to decorate the space, giving it that WOW factor that I gotta have.

DECOR (Still the inspiratons):
