Men's WarehouseOverall, we had a good experience renting through Men's Wearhouse. It was only slightly annoying that they always had difficulty finding our group reservation by name and date (I finally started carrying the group number with me everywhere). Other than that, the staff were helpful when picking colors, and gave us a courtesy call when some members were cutting it close with making their reservation.
We had a minor hiccup when my brother was given a vest that was too large. They were able to get a smaller vest in, but didn't call to tell him, so we ended up calling them instead the day before the wedding.

Custom Alterations & DressmakingTook my dress in to get altered. I thought that it fit fine and all I needed is to get it hemmed. Not knowing Bernie the lady is after my money, she said she knows what she's doing and that I should let it out to fit correctly on me. She said it I want it done "right," that I should just trust her. And I did. First, we talked about letting it out, hemming the dress, fixing the beading around the bust, and scrunching it in the middle, shortening straps and then take it in around the hips to fit my petite body. She did all of that until my second fitting to where she was going to pin me to take it in around the hips. She totally didn't remember that we talked about that and refused to do it. On my third fitting, the dress is still too big on me so I asked her to fit around my behind to fit better, she charged me $80 more. Since she had to let it out around the bust and all, I ran out of beading. So she said she will replace them with what she has in the shop. She replaced them with the wrong pearls and was going to just let it go. I came back and brought her the beads and pearls, and then she refused to totally fix the beading. She said I was nit picking. Anyway, I just picked up my dress today and it's way too big around the bust now and around the waist, the I'm missing some beads in front and back of my dress. The beading that was already on there was sewed on crooked, I have a bubble on my waist from where she let it out, plus, I have a big soiled stain on the train of my dress that's going to need to come off. She called my dress "old" because it was a Sample dress. Oh, I also have lipstick marks all over my dress courtesy of her majesty knows it all. I forgot that she also demanded on my second fitting that I come in and pay her more after putting my deposit down. I am at a lost right now with my dress. I'm taking it to get it cleaned and repaired after paying all that money to that old hag. Oh, my bustle is crooked too. DON'T GO THERE!!!

Does anyone know a vendor that JUST sells homemade lemonade? I wanted to have a lemonade reception (basically a light appetizer reception with lemonade-no meal) but I am having a hard time finding a vendor that can do this. Its way too much work to make it, though I have considered making a lemonade concentrate the day before.... and I didn't want to use the powdered stuff.
