Pasadena Wedding
The Ultimate Pasadena Wedding Planning Resource

The Flower GardenAfter reading this review, I called this vendor to have something special created for my family. He only charged $40 for a center piece and my mother was so happy to receive it later that day. He added persimmons to the center piece and my Japanese mother was so surprised as this is very much a symbol of fall in Japan. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful show piece for our family's special event.

Fresh Events CompanyThank God we had Amanda help us plan our wedding!! We got the Platinum package, I work full time and there was no way I could've planned the kind of wedding that we had without Amanda! I would recommend the Platinum package to anyone who works full time, or anyone that loves to be pampered with white glove service! :)
Yes, hiring a wedding planner can be pricey but Fresh Events was worth every penny! Choosing a wedding planner is the first major decision you make when you first start planning a wedding. Amanda made us feel at ease right off the bat, she was patient, efficient, thorough, and responded quickly to my 10,000+ emails :) I am incredibly picky (I'm the type that needs to see ALL the options before deciding) and at times very indecisive, but Amanda was there with me every step of the way and having her professional opinion really helped.
I had vendors that I knew I wanted to work with, and Amanda had a great network of vendors that she has built close relationships with. We got great pricing on our photo booth, lighting, rentals, etc. :)
Our wedding was at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point this past October and it was absolutely amazing (!!!). It was more than anything we could've ever dreamed of! Many of our guests asked who our wedding planner was during our wedding. Amanda and her team were professional, sharp (in their all black suits :)) and made sure the schedule ran smoothly. They were calm and organized, you would not have known if there were any complications! :)
Make an appointment with Fresh Events as soon as you're engaged!! :)

Amazing Event Djs (AMZDJ)Shawn was organized, professional and very nice too. We gave him an exact playlist with tons of songs. He didn't mind that we were dictating everything when it came to the music selection. Some of our songs were a little obscure and he found them all (and the versions we wanted of those songs) with very little time to find them in. He also did an amazing job of keeping the reception running smoothly and working with all the vendors. We were very, very glad we chose him after an extensive DJ search! :)

Kelly Zhang Make up artists and Hair Stylists TeamLove the Kelly Zhang team! You definitely want to do the trial session so that you know what kind of hair and makeup you will want for your day and they were great for my wedding. Denise showed up early and started on my mom's hair first. She then worked on my hair and makeup and it turned out great. I received nothing but compliments throughout the evening/night at the ceremony and reception. They also provide you with a touch-up kit of the makeup that was used, along with straws and mints. :) I highly recommend the Kelly Zhang team for your wedding day hair and makeup.

JAC PhotographersChris and Jamie are so great to work with! I was new to wedding planning and was a little lost with the so many options in wedding photography. Through looking at wedding blogs, I noticed that I am drawn to the film photography more than digital photography. The color is softer and more romantic , I feel. I came across JAC photography through a casual, relaxed beach side wedding on Style me pretty. Chris shoots film and Jamie shoots digital. Perfect! I met up with Chris and Jamie and really liked their works. Working with Chris and Jamie is great because Chris will ensure you'll get what you want on the photography and Jamie is on top of things in corresponding with you and on the album designs.
I really love how Chris and Jamie are really great in capturing all the emotion throughout our wedding.. I am in love with our wedding photography and have been looking through the favorite slideshow probably 20 times since they shared it to me 10 days ago. Looovvvveeee............

Hey ladies,
I found a place where we are leaning towards having our reception. The only problem is I don't feel like there is adequate space to accomodate also having the ceremony. I've looked into a few places in Pasadena and the main problem I'm running in to is finding somewhere that will comfortably seat approximately 250 guests.
A lot of the churches do not have AC (we are aiming for a July wedding) or have many restrictions that would make it difficult for us. Another option could be to have our ceremony at the same church in Pasadena where my Fiance's brother got married last year... good idea/bad idea?

Hi Ladies ~ I was hoping you could help me pull together some ideas for my wedding shower location. I'd love to rent a home/space that has a beautiful garden in the Pasadena or greater Los Angeles area. Ideally, we'd like to bring in our own catering. I've looked for home rentals, and now am looking a bit at city rentals but I thought maybe some of you had ideas for me? Thanks so much...

Pasadena Wedding Bios
I just got married Memorial weekend at the Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena and I had a blast. The wedding was everything I had dreamed of (of course within budget), thanks in part to projectwedding.com. I was able to find great vendors with the help of other brides' reviews. I coudn't wait to put my reviews in, hopefully helping other brides/couples with finding vendors for their wedding in the LA area.

Our ceremony will take place in the rotunda (entrance) and the reception will take place in the courtyard. The building is finally complete after a three year renovation of $118 million. It is especially gorgeous at night!

We're married! We were lucky enough to have two amazing days: we had our ceremony and a luncheon in Pasadena in July of 2006, and then my parents threw an amazing reception for us in Illinois in August of 2006.

After 7 years of dating and a year engagement, my husband Billy and I were married on July 21st 2007 at the Pasadena Museum of History. That day was the best day of my life and everything was perfect. I was definately a bride on a budget (seriously) and a DIY bride so if you need any suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

On Saturday August 18, 2007, we were married in Pasadena, California at La Casita Del Arroyo.
Our
August 18th wedding was actual the second wedding we've planned. We originally planned to get married on April 8, 2007, in Virginia Beach, VA (my hometown). Because of planning difficulties and scheduling problems, we postponed and decided to get
married closer to where we live.
Our wedding and its snafus would probably make for a great comedy movie. Even with the hiccups and snags, our wedding turned out beautiful and memorable in its own unique and quirky way.
