Loving Images PhotoWe were referred to Loving Images who said his work was great and he was very professional. On the day of our engagement session he showed up 45 minutes late with no phone call to warn us. That should have been the first red flag. During the rest of the planning I would e-mail and call him of some concerns I was having with wedding day photo sites. It would take me calling and emailing him everyday for almost 2 weeks to finally get a hold of him. Day of wedding went fine. As far as our wedding albums and portrait being completed we are still waiting for them. It has been almost 2 months since I gave the okay on the layout of the album and still nothing. My husband called middle of July to check on status he said they would be done by the first of august. It is now the middle of August and I still can't get a response from him via email or phone. I have called multiple times leaving messages with my phone number as well as husbands. No response. Same with emails. He has an excuse for everything regarding his unprofessionalism. I would not wish this upon any newlyweds. I would not recommend him at all

Bellasposa One Stop Wedding CenterDO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Please avoid this store if you are on a budget or a plus size girl. I went there yesterday to try on bridal gowns. It was the first store I had gone to and was excited to start shopping for my dress. I had made a point to call ahead and ask if the store carried sample dresses in my size (size 18) to try on because I would not buy a dress I couldn't try on. She said they had them and so I made an appointment. When I got there they were not ready. I walked around the store for about 15 minutes waiting. When the girl finally came over to us the first thing she asked was my budget. When I told her around $500-$600 she told me they had very few dresses in that price range. At that point the sales lady seemed very uninterested in helping me. I pointed out a dress I liked and she stated it was way out of my price range, without offering to let me try it on (also it was only a few hundred over my budget, not thousands). I tried explaining what style dresses I liked and she proceeded to walk to the one wall, pull out two dresses, and state they are the only ones in the store in my size to try on. These were probably the two ugliest dresses in the entire store and I asked if there was anything else. She grabbed two other dresses and took me to the fitting room. They did not have undergarments to wear with the dresses and the lady would not help me put the dresses on. This was my first time dress shopping, I had no idea what I was doing. So I started to pull the dress on and realized it was a size 10. When I asked her, she said most of her sample dresses are 10 or smaller and that I can hold it up in front of me. She didn't help me hold it up, she didn't help me hang it back up, she was useless. This was a horrible experience and almost ruined my entire dress shopping day with my mom and sister. I will never go back there and never recommend this store to anyone. Go to Alfred Angelo just down the street, the sales people are so much nicer and it's such a pleasant atmosphere there.

Bellasposa One Stop Wedding CenterWhile i had a great experience with most of the girls, they were all very helpful and really nice, that and my dress were the only things I was happy with. They went above and beyond to order me a dress that they didn't carry that I had found in another store. It was absolutely gorgeous and better than I could have ever imagined. With that being said... everything else was a completely different story. We got the bridesmaid's dresses, invitations, and tuxedos there. We had such a great experience with my dress we thought everything would go as smoothly as that. When we ordered our invitations the proof came back wrong twice, when we got the actual invitations back the printing that we paid extra for was not on the envelopes and they had to be sent back. The file that had our information was lost, and we had to start a new form. Then when we got them they were wrong. We spent extra money to get stickers with our names on them, and they used the address from our RSVP cards (that had our names on it already), when we pointed out that they were wrong we were told that we were going to have to pay to have it fixed. We weren't very happy as it wasn't our mistake in the first place. We decided to leave it, and would figure out what to do with the stickers later.
The bridesmaids dresses started out great, the first fitting went great. When the dresses came in... not so much. Every single one of my girls had to have their dresses altered. Not one of them was measured right in the beginning. the salesgirls told me that it was my girl's faults because they all gained weight since the fitting. WRONG! They were all the same size with the exception of one girl who had a baby, but we knew from the start that we might have problems with her dress, so we were prepared for that. She actually had to have her dress taken in and when it was it looked like a 10 year old fixed it. All of the beads were missing from the side of the dress and it was crooked. When I showed Heidi she said thats how it was supposed to be, she didn't even attempt to try to put the beads back on the dress properly. Since this was my maid of honor, it was not going to fly with me. After some arguing with her it was finally fixed.
The tuxedos were an absloute nightmare - avoid ordering here if at all possible. First of all, one of the girls lost our file that had the groom's measurement inside, I really think they need a new filing system! All of the guys went in to be measured, and out of all of them only two guys out of the ten were right. The Father of the Bride's was way too big and he looked like he was a little kid playing dress up in his dad's suit. The groom's was the worst of all. You would think the one person that had the biggest role in the wedding, they would have taken their time measuring and making sure his was right. It was horrible. His pants were too long, his shoes were the wrong size, the jacket was completly wrong, and we had to order a different one. When we got the other jacket there was a hole in it, right up front that was very visible. I was down there the night before my wedding picking up tuxes and making sure everything was ok, when it should have been taken care of before then. One of our groomsmen didn't get to pick his up until just hours before the wedding due to measuring issues. I don't think the bride needs to deal with that kind of unnecessary stress on her wedding day. Our ringbearer's tuxedos were aweful. Even though both of the boys were measured, their shirts and vests came in completely wrong. The boys are 7 and 5 years old. The stuff that was ordered was for atleast a 12 year old. The shirts went past the boy's knees and had to be clipped in the back. The sleeves were ridiculously long and didn't even work with the sleeve guards, they were almost double the length of their arms. When I voiced my concern about them, I was told that was the smallest size that could be ordered. Then why bother measuring the boys in the first place then? And why wasn't I made aware of this when they were being ordered? I would have gotten them somewhere else that could do a child's tux. The poor boys could barely walk down the aisle due to their jimmy-rigged suits.
The wedding dress experience was great (except for Heidi telling me not to lose anymore weight or else my dress wouldn't fit. I wasn't losing weight on purpose, it was because of stress and I had no control over it.) everything else left something to be desired. This is not the one-stop wedding shop... it's the one-stop headache shop.

Bellasposa One Stop Wedding Centerthere's no words nor expression of how we can thank enough of the staff and management of Bellasposa, they were the best ever. we rendered their services for wedding photography, as well as videography. it was an amazing experience with willliam, photographer, he made it special for us, pictures turned out great. candid shots made us like it was a celebrity wedding. tommy helped us turned our "photo package" flexible enough to were we are able to afford such a rather "affluent" wedding pictures. the staff at Bellasposa made us comfortable upon our first visit to the store. we were able to make our decision without pressure from staff and was very respectful. prior to our wedding, we had visited and shopped around for our photography in riverside and orange county, no one could match what Bellasposa could offer. my bride and i fell in love with Bellasposa. we did not hesitate to recommend few of our friends who are getting married soon. it was such a pleasure to have Bellasposa in our wedding. thank you again, tommy and staff.

Bellasposa One Stop Wedding CenterI dont normally post comments on web sites about places I shop. To tell you the truth I think this is the first time I've done this, but I felt I had to let people know about Bellasposa One Stop Wedding Center. When my wife and I walked into the shop we had all we needed and just needed a photographer and cake.
From the moment we walked in it was an experience like no other. We never felt like a customers but more like family or friends. The staff was helpful, nice, polite, and friendly. We were the center of attention from the time we walked in.
Now for the photographer him self, he was great. I cant say enough about him. He had great fresh new ideas for photos and perfect sites to go take our wedding photos. Now like most people right now with the bad economy it was hard to pay for a wedding, but he was very understanding and worked with our budget. Also never hounding us for money or payments.
All in all our time spent at the shop and with the photographer at our wedding was time well spent and money well spent. I will forever be a customer for any big event in my life that I need a photographer.

This is an elegant black satin dress with pink detailing. Pink embroidered flowers run along the dress with bead detailing. Black satin rope is cross crossed on the back to better fit any body and provide a close fitted form. This is a size 4
dress and has only been worn once. Its been dry cleaned and no damage. All beads are in tact and no snag. This is a perfect dress for homecoming, prom, any formal occasion. It also comes with a shawl from the same black satin material fro m the dress.
It has straps but I prefer them to be tucked in to look like a strapless. I wish I can wear it again but its time I let go. I hope to see it get worn and be shown off again. Feel free to contact me for more pictures or questions.

So it seems last minute Christmas shopping does have it's perks. I was at the Victoria Gardens mall in Rancho Cucamonga with my mom picking up some last minute gifts when I said we should pop in White House Black Market just to see what they had for ideas since my Bridesmaid Dresses would be black. Lo and Behold I found them! And at a GNARLY discount no less. The tag said $178.00 which was marked down to $99.99 and THEN another 40% off THAT because of some special discount thing they have on dresses. So my lucky ladies will only be paying $64.64. I don't think the model does it justice really. Those tights kinda kill it for me. Much cuter in person.
(p.s. I'm nixing the flower (which is detachable, hallelujah) and adding a thin cameo pink sash)

I found "The" Dress during my first time trying on dresses. I was not really excited about trying on dresses because of my body but boy was I wrong! Once I started trying on the dresses I felt like a million bucks and all my worries went away. I think it also helped that my consultant at the bridal shop was AMAZING!
I had brought my mom, sister, mother in-law, and sister in-law along for the trip. For each dress, the consultant would get me dressed and then explain all the details about the dress. She would also let me look in the mirror for as long as I wanted so I could make my own opinion about the dress before she opened the curtains and my mom started voicing her opinions! I was so thrilled about my experience there and would recommend any bride in Southern California go to Uniquely Elegant Bridal in Rancho Cucamonga. You will not be disappointed!
This dress was about the 6th or 7th one I had tried on. When I had it on and looked it the mirror there was definately a different feeling than the other dresses but no tears or "Oh my gosh" moments. I loved it but wanted to try on few other dresses I had picked out...Because this is was my first time, I didn't want to get to caught up in the moment and then end up regretting my decision down the road. So I tried a few more dresses on but kept comparing them to the other dress. Once I was finished, I put it back on and I instantly knew that this was "The" dress. That is when it hit me....I would be marrying the man of my dreams in this dress! Then the flood gates opened...And when my mom saw me in it again, she started crying again too!
Then once we had decided this was the one, the consultant told us the price and our jaws dropped....$400! Apparently a bride had ordered the dress and put down her 50% deposit. When it came in she wasn't able to pay the remaining balance so she had to forfeit the dress. It must have been fate because the dress was even in my size! So I was able to take it home that day.
I can't wait to wear this dress on our wedding day...I am so excited! My dress is a Sottero & Midgley JSM 1103.
Something Old- Label inside of dress
Something New- Dress, jewelry, garter
Something Borrowed- Sister's perfume for wedding day
Something Blue- Label inside of dress
After seeing a few different "dress labels" from other brides, I fell in love and knew I had to have one as my something blue. I asked FI's grandma if she could make it for me and she was delighted. I just received the finished product at my bridal shower and I absolutely love it! It brought me to tears when I opened it up. She also told me that it had been made using an old, vintage pillow case so it is also my something old!
My jewelry arrived in the mail the other day and I love it!! It came exactly as pictured and it is so beautiful. My wedding day jewelry from BGBJewelry on Etsy:
My garter from Peterene Design on Etsy:
I had 3 fittings with Mahtab. I had read rave reviews about her on Project Wedding and I figured since my dress needed some work done I would go with the best. When I came to her my dress did not fit and I was in a big panic, like most brides would be. She assured me that everything will be fine and not to worry. By the 3rd fitting, my dress fit like a glove! It looked even better than I could have imagined and I was so thrilled. She truly has magic hands. Mahtab hemmed my dress, created a bustle, let it out and created a wider modesty panel for the corset back.

I had been dreaming of a lace dress, but knew there was no way we could afford it on our budget. I even considered buying a used dress, but most still cost at least $2000 which was twice what our budget alloted. So, a few weekends after we got engaged, my amazing sister/MOH set up an appointment at Uniquely Elegant Attire in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We figured I would just try on a few dresses to see if the styles I liked in the magazines (i.e. lace) were the ones I actually liked in person. We had no intention of actually looking to buy.
However, I ended up falling in love w/ a dress...the very first dress I tried on in the first bridal boutique I stepped into!!! AND, they were having a rack sale and this particular boutique takes excellent care of their rack dresses so it was in near-perfect condition. SO, I got my dress (Anjolique Style #957) right then and there!!! :D And they happened to have the veil I loved in stock, so I got a discount on that too! Yay!!!

DECEMBER 4, 2009
My name is Katie Jones and it will be almost a year in February that I've been engaged and I'm just now starting to get down to working on my wedding. I lost my job at the beginning of the year so I knew that my wedding will have to be budgeted greatly, however I did want to set a date of July3rd 2010.
A little about myself.. I've always been a hard worker, very independent and responsible. I love parties and so when I've thought of my wedding I knew I would want it to be "one big party". I live in Los Angeles and due to the housing market in the past years me and my boyfriend have been saving for a house. Well, when the market fell so did the economy therefore it's just not in the cards to buy property now. We have put our funds aside and decided to wait till we get a little more secure with our employment. Even though I'm not working we have been doing fine financially mostly due to the fact that we do not have debt. But the guilt is always there that since I'm not working how will I have a wedding? ..As the year went on my questions became answers. As my "wedding account" grew it seems that my family was shrinking. I lost 5 family members due to different reasons throughout the year. The fifth loss (was the only non-family member however she was the mother of my two best friends in the world Michele and Briana and I considered her a second mother to me as well). My best friend Michele got engaged in December one month before me, she planned for her wedding to be April 17, 2010. Well August 27th we found out her mom had pancreatic cancer, she moved the wedding to November 21st on September 17th we found out it was spread throughout her body and her mom passed away on November 3rd. The sunday before her bachelorette party 2 weeks before her wedding. My friends are both very strong and their family are faithful spirited Catholics it was the hardest thing in the world to see them experience such a sad and happy time within a few weeks of each other but we got through it. All of the current events made me realize that times are short and things happen that are out of our control. I don't want to worry about "wasting money on a wedding".. I want to celebrate the Love that god has given me between me and My Fiancee Elliot. (I didn't celebrate my 30th birthday this year so my wedding will double for that party ;)...
As my loving family members get older our strengh in memories are what keeps me happy through the years. I will always remember family get togethers and celebrations and dancing at them (I consider myself a dancer). I just have to have one of my own guilt free... So hopefully you can join me as I make notes of my " BIG FUN CHEAP EXPENSIVE DIFFERENT GUILT FREE WEDDING BASH"
SURPRISE PROPOSAL AT DISNEYLAND-FEBRUARY 7, 2009
I went to a Birthday Party at Disneyland with Noah (my stepsons) little sister Alyssa. Boy was it storming that day I mean thunder, lightning, the works..At around 4pm Elliot's sister called me saying she was there (suprise) and that she had something to give me so to "meet her in front of the castle". When I got there I noticed that my kids were with with her and so was my boyfriend Elliot it took me a little while to realize what was going on ... actually it didn't hit me until he fell to one knee but when I did I could'nt stop crying. Everyone started cheering and clapping.. I said yes too by the way. :)
Here is my Mother Theresa inspired Proposal Pic.. :)
MY LOVELY DRESS
After trying on about 50 dresses from different locations Alfred Angelo, David's Bridal, Bellasposa in Rancho Cucamonga, Danniela's Bridal in Santa Fe Springs, and 2 bridal shows that were having sample sales (I think Mariposa Anaheim was one of them) I kept going back to the very first dress I tried on, can you believe it? Just like they say. It wasn't my first choice it was the first she put me in and I loved it. It was from Alfred Angelo and it was in the $800 range. I started my dress shopping in May making myself take my time and I did in late august I was searching Ebay, Craigslist, internet comparing prices ETC and low and behold up came the AA dress on sale from a bridal shop in New Jersey called Chrissy O designs. I contacted them email and they told be my AA dress size 12 was on their floor end of season sale for $350 flat including free shipping. I called my AA and the sample size that I tried on was a 14 (I remember it fitting a little big) I took a chance on the purchase and 2 days later USPS (with insurance) showed up with my wedding dress. Can you believe I put it on and it fits me like a glove! No alterations necessary (except for bustle) If I lose weight my mom can take it in she's a seamstress. My mom saw the dress and couldn't believe her eyes for the price, material, and style she couldn't make the dress for $350. We've always had issues with clothing fitting me because I have larger boobs. But this dress fits perfect like AA made it for me. I'm obssessed with "Say yes to the Dress" but I wouldn't give up my cheap dress for the world. Here it is. Mermaid style #2025 .. the bottom bubbles and it's taffeta.
And the backside

MY PRETTY ENGAGEMENT RING
Tacori inspired. I couldn't find an image that wasn't a 3D image of the exact ring. But this is close. Pink Sapphire surrounded by diamonds. It's very different which I love and a nod to my birthstone which is October-Rose Zircon. I heart Pink.
