Where are good places to hike? We want to climb Mount Elbert in the summer but we need to start small first.

“ Tell us your proposal story and you may be featured! ”

Tell us all about how it happened and post pics if you have them!

I'll start with mine - Josh and I spent the day at Universal/Islands of Adventure in Orlando.  We go back to the hotel and the first thing I do is go use the bathroom.  I come out to wash my hands, jeans still unbuttoned and I look over and he's on his knee.  I yelled out something like, "Couldn't you wait for me to button my pants??  You're a dork...Yes."

So us :)

I have no photos of that, sorry.

“ And Then She was in Love...My profile ” by ldybugs81

Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte and I am dating a wonderful man, Jason. I'm 30 and he is 33. We met online through a service called meetrealguys.com and I had been very skeptical in finding someone online. But where I live in Rocky Mount area it's hard to find anyone decent that I could marry one day. Well we chated online for over 4 hours the first night and then even longer the next few nights. I met Jason the last week of February after my grandfather passed away. But I have to say that Jason is the best thing that has ever happened to me (besides the birth of my daughter from a previous marriage.) Well I went on a date with Jason at an outdoor outlet mall because I felt safer going out with someone in a very public place, and I even drove there and he did too. That way if I felt there was a need to drive off I could. We definitely connected and it took him over 45 minutes to hold my hand and even longer to give me a kiss. It was instant connection then. It took me almost 3 months before I would introduce him to my daughter, Olivia who is 7 and I felt that it was time for him to meet her. We took her to Disney World this past July where she had a blast and we plan to do a lot with her whenever she is with me. We have now been dating for almost 6 1/2 months and everyday that I'm with him makes me want to be with him forever. He lives in Fayetteville which is an hour and a half away from me so saying goodbye is getting harder and harder to do.

We have talked about getting married and made plans to get married after school is out for my daughter. We originally were looking at getting married in February but we decided to wait until the summer sometime (we are thinking sometime in either June or July). I work in the medical field as a insurance specialist and am looking for a position where insurance is offered and I will be paid a little more than I am now.

Jason is currently in school to become a real estate appraiser and he can't wait until his classes are complete in October 2011. Then he will have to take his state boards and he will be an appraiser. :) He will be able to work from home and I hope that one day I will be able to work from home as well and raise a family.
