Stehman PhotographyMy fiancé and I were planning a small destination wedding in Sarasota. Since we live in NY, the only photographer suggestions that we had were from our venue and from the Internet. I contacted over half a dozen photographers and their prices were either outrageous or they did not want to want to do what my fiancé and I wanted to do for our wedding! My fiancé and I did not want to see each other before the wedding, but we were told that it was not a good idea and they'd prefer to take photos of my fiancé and I before the ceremony. We also wanted to do a fun, playful beach photo shoot the day after the wedding, but I was told by several photographers that it wasn't necessary since our wedding was already on the beach and we could take beach photos after the ceremony. Aren't the photographers supposed to do what their client wants?
After being EXTREMELY frustrated, I discovered Stehman Photography on The Knot and this website. The reviews were unbelievable, so I called Carla's company and I was able to get in touch with arla very quickly. To my surprise she was SO friendly and sweet and I really enjoyed speaking with her. I IMMEDIATELY knew that she was different from the other photographers. All of my ideas were enthusiastically supported by Carla and she even thought that the "day after" beach photo shoot was a great idea!
Carla of Stehman Photography was extremely quick and responsive to my e-mails and phone calls from the time I booked her up to our wedding and even after the wedding! She and her assistant (her husband Vick) were WONDERFUL at our wedding. We barely noticed that they were there, yet they managed to capture such beautiful and unique photos. So many of our guests kept complimenting me on picking such a great photographer and kept saying, "Where did you find her? She's awesome!" Two of my friends actually said that they wished they could get married again so Carla and Vick could take the pictures! The album she designed is absolutely beautiful and fits our style perfectly, I am so happy I decided to include it with our package.
We wish we lived in Florida so we could use Carla and Stehman Photography again!

DeLair EntertainmentWayne was fantastic! We had excellent communication prior to our wedding with both Alice & Wayne. They were extremely professional and efficient, which put us immediately at ease. The sound quality was phenomenal & lighting was absolutely beautiful & much more than we had ever anticipated. They took the time to make sure we were all on the same page and there would be no surprises... We HIGHLY recommend DeLair Entertainment! Wayne truly is an artist at what he does!

BLACK TIE DJsWe made an appointment with these people to meet and discuss our wedding. We set a time, a date, and they provided us an address (which we drove to for 30 minutes). In the end, we got to their house and they weren't home! We called them and they didn't answer. We never heard from them again. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional. So disappointing.

I have a huge sale going on in my bridal boutique selling off my floor models BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!!! I cannot send photos of every dress, but if you can give me a clear description of what you are looking for I can do my best. Any wedding dress can have elements added to it. I have dresses that are all lace, satin, silk, organza, 2-piece, detachable trains - so many to choose from. The dresses are in excellent condition. Some may have a little bit of dirt on the bottom of them from fashion shows, but very minor and would easily come out with professional dry cleaning. I have ivory and white gowns to choose from, all designer gowns made with the best quality materials. The sizes I carry are between 10 and 12, but fit like 8's and 10's. I'm winding down. It's late. I never did talk to Nat today. Im feeling quiet right now. Funny thing happened today. When the mail arrived there was a catalog sized envelope in the box. I didnt even notice that it wasn't mine. I mean the address was mine, but the name wasn't. Somebody had written the wrong address on a package of ...wedding photos!
Of all times to show up. Well, I did look. After all I opened it and was looking before I figured out what happened. So, the images was above professional and stunning. The photographer was out of Sarasota so I will be looking her up. OK, now I promise first thing in the morning I will go straight to the post office and explain this package. I know if I was waiting for these and they never arrived Id be heart broken.

The Wedding
The wedding will be held in our home town of Sarasota, Florida on December 11th, 2009. We are looking forward to having 120 of our closest friends and family to witness our vows. My theme is peacock feathers. Colors are peacock eye blue, silver, and black.

Andy and I started dating in 2001 after Andy came to have a drink with friends at the Bennigan's I bartended at. We had originally met a year or so prior when we had a Lit class together in college, but were simply classmates who rarely conversed. Turns out, the boys came to the bar after a friends younger brother's soccer game. This friend happened to have a very outspoken father, who after seeing that Andy was too chicken to say ask for my phone number, decided to do it for him. It was quite funny and I hope that he will make some sort of speech or toast or something at the wedding, since he is single handedly responsible for us getting together. Once we started talking, it turned out we had a ton in common and really hit it off. We began living together a few months later and the rest is history (how cliche, lol).
Six years later, Andy now works as a Help Desk Specialst for the IT Department at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I also work for SMH as a Fiscal Coordinator for the Gulf Central Early Steps Program. We play on an adult kickball league, an adult bowling league, & play Fantasy Football together. I enjoy reading and he loves video games. We watch TrueBlood religiously and love playing with our dog Patches. We can't wait to start our family together!

The groomsman & ring bearer's ties are the black ties w/ blue feathers (middle tie in left pic), Andy's will be electric blue w/ silver feathers (middle in right pic), & my father's will be black w/ silver feathers (left tie in right pic).
