Dash of Class EntertainmentMike Serras from Dash of Class is one like no other. We obtained his info from my aunt, who attended another wedding that Mike DJ'd. She thought that Mike did such a great job for her friend's wedding, she stalked him out, got his info, and recommended him to us. From the minute we met Mike, I knew he would be our wedding DJ. From the very beginning, Mike was attentive, responsive, professional and upfront. I loved his confidence, style, and honesty. He responded to any mode of communication within a few minutes. Our wedding on 11/10/11 at Atrium County Club, West Orange, NJ was truly a PARTY. Our guests left the dance floor to only refill their glass at the bar. Mike and his collegues played such a wonderful variety of music, from the mid 90's to today's music, from hip hop to salsa, dance to slow jams. Our cocktail music truly hit the nose to the overal feel that we wanted for our wedding; I love Hector Lavoe and Willie Colon, and he gave it to us. Our guests are STILL commenting on how great the DJ was. I told my husband if he throws me a suprise bday party, Mike better be the DJ! If you are searching for a DJ, Mike from Dash of Class should be your choice.

Gracie's BridalI LOVED my experience at Gracie's Bridal!!! I was worried to start dress shopping because I only had a vague idea of the type of dress I wanted and I do not enjoy shopping. It turns out there was no need to worry! The staff helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. I liked two dresses and the staff encouraged me to try the dresses on back to back. That was extremely helpful in making my decision. I realized after trying the dresses on back to back which one I really loved. Even though retrying the dresses on was time consuming I never felt rushed or pushed by the staff to make my decision. When my dress came in, Gracie’s stored my dress for free! And if I ever had a question the staff was always available to answer them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Davids BridalMy consultant at this location rocked the only complaint I have is not even their fault. The store closed down due to flooding and I had to be directed to Paramus in order to alter my dress. Paramus was too full with their own brides plus Wayne brides so they directed me to Springfield. Springfield does not do weekend alterations and the late night alterations were not late enough for me. My only other option was East Brunswick but that is super far from me.
Eventually I found Hollywood Bride who did my alterations for a lot cheaper than DB would have done them. So it all worked out in the end, and hopefully the store is up and running once again because Wayne is one of the best locations with the best staff!

Gracie's BridalI had a wonderful experience working with Gracie’s! The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. They listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress I tried on and would bring me new dresses to try based on my remarks. Because of this I found the dress of my dreams! I bought my dress, bridesmaid dresses, MOB dress and tuxes at Gracie’s. Everything came in in the time frame I was told it would. I will recommend Gracie’s Bridal to everyone!

A tornado just destroyed half of my town. So many of my friends are homeless my boss is homeless my dad's boss is too. So far 24 dead one of the hospitals roof ripped off my high school I graduated from destroyed its so sad. My town is declared a disaster area right now.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Joplin mo who was effected by the tornado.

So my MOH's sister is getting married in a few weeks and her uncle volunteered to DJ and cut down costs. He sort of does this as a side hobby and told her he would DL music she wants or he'll play what he has. She's afraid everything he has is outdated. I told her I'd help her compile something.

Who is your favorite singer, band, musician? My tastes are pretty eclectic. My favorite band EVER is Hanson. I've caught a lot of flak
over it for the past fourteen years, but I don't care! I also love Garth Brooks, Reba, New Kids on the Block, Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson. That would probably be my short list of favorites!

After searching high and low, trying on countless dresses I finally found the dress of my dreams! This Nicole
Miller Double Face Satin Halter Gown with Twist Back Detail was not only designer but also so very reasonable in price. I loved this dress so much I wanted it in every color of the rainbow (and they do sell it in many many colors).
I am
only 5' 2" and this made-for-a-supermodel dress was way too long for me so I ended up having to take it to Anna's Designs in Springfield NJ for many alterations. After some over analyzing I had to have my Mother-In-Law had to work some more
alteration magic on it to make ridiculously perfect and it was.

HOW WE MET
We were best friends and dated in high school. We lost contact with each other throughout the college years as many do. When Caitlin moved back to East Longmeadow, we ran into eachother at the 99 and started hanging out again. We quickly became great friends and found we had more than we could ever believe possible in common! We were perfect for eachother in everyway. We were meant to be!

I grew up in Springfield, Illinois and moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1980. My love for invitations was sparked after a friend and I bought an invitation/gift shop in 1985. Customers were impressed with our creativity and great service, and the store quickly became known as "The Place" for invitations.
In 1992 we made the decision to take a break from working 24/7 and sold the business. Before long we missed our customers and craved updates on the latest invitation trends and styles. We now both have our own home-based invitation businesses and collaborate on many projects.
After almost twenty years, I still truly enjoy helping my clients make selections that will enhance their memorable events.

About me
I am a 25 year old soon to be bride and I'm a very vibrant, spunky, fun-lovin person. I love lots of colors mixed and love to be unique. I have been raised in a christian home all my life and have been a preachers kid almost all my life. I love the Lord with all my heart! I was a home-schooled child all of my life and loved every minute of the time I got to spend with my mom and brother and sister. I am a ex-gymnasts and have worked as a gymnastics instructor at the Springfield, IL YMCA since I was 14, I am now the gymnastics Coordinator for the whole gymnastics department and have been since I was 17 years old. I am also a Switchboard Operator for the St. Francis convent and a Office Assistant for the Regional Office of Education, if that is not enough to keep me busy I am also a half time student at LLCC. I have one brother and one sister who are both older than me, yes I am the baby and most of the time get treated that way. My family is a very close family even though my parents are divorced. I have four step-siblings two brothers and two sisters. My sister is my Matron of Honor and my brother is one of the groomsmen. I have two nieces 3 and 4 and three nephews 9, 7, and 1month. Three of them are from my sister and two are from my brother, I have a soon to be step-nephew coming around Christmas, yeah. I have a cat named Frisky who thinks he is my child so Eric has a step-cat when we get married. LOL!

About him
He is a 23 year old "boy" LOL! He loves playing video games on the computer, TV, phone, anywhere he can get his hands on one. He is also a very fun-loving and spunky person. He went to Tri-City school all his life and played in many sports as well as being a cheerleader in high school. He is a very sweet man and very good to me and my family, I love him dearly. He works at the Fox 55/27 here is Springfield, IL on the night shift and goes to school half time as well at LLCC. He used to work at the YMCA as a lifeguard until he got the fox job. I bet you can guess where we met, LOL!
