Utica Wedding

Cactus JacksCactus Jacks in downtown Utica, Mi was a great stop for my bachlorette party. The manager came over and checked up on us multiple times to unsure that we were having a great time. He made sure that we had enough room for all of the girls and even brought out a couple rounds of drinks on him. There was good music for girls who love to dance. There is also good food which helps any bachlorette make it through her night! It is a casual environment, so everyone was comfortable. It was one place that made my night one to remember!

Sam's Club (Troy)We ordered cupcakes from Sam’s Club and set them up on a stand ourselves. If you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to cake, this is the way to go. Their cupcakes are about $12 for 30 of them. They are pretty simple- you can get white or chocolate cake in a variety of frosting colors (we did hot pink, light pink, and white). They don't do fancy decorations, but I figured with 270 cupcakes, who's going to notice the decorations anyway? I have heard that they are going to start doing wedding cakes soon. I didn't actually have one, but I heard from a few people that they were a little on the dry side but that the buttercream frosting was delicious. All in all, for what we paid (just over $100), I would recommend them.

Locker Room SaloonMy bachelorette party was held here. Love, Love, Love this place! They have such a fun atmosphere and it’s such a unique experience. We love it so much that my husband actually had his bachelor party there too. Be prepared to make reservations though!! It gets pretty packed!

Men's Wearhouse (Utica, MI)Overall, this was a good experience. I heard horror stories from others about other stores so we chose Men’s Warehouse. The ordering took some time because no one came to help us. But after that, everyone was able to get measured and place their order quickly. At pick-up time, there were some minor adjustments needed. I did realize after I got my photos back, that they gave my dad a different tie than everyone else! I must’ve been too busy to notice the day-of and no one said anything to me.

Staybridge Suites (Utica)Guest Lodging/Wedding Night Hotel: Wonderful to work with! We loved the rooms and the guest service was great! We were limited in the near vicinity of the ceremony/reception but guests didn’t mind the drive because the hotel was so great!
