Christina Lochard is the younger sister of the bride. Who knew they would ever be so close?  Growing up Johanne and Christina were night and day. Sharing a room often caused bitter fights in the lochard household with these two. In fact Christina often retells the story of being pushed through a wall by Johanne. If you ask Jo- she called it more of a "love tap". Over the years their sisterly squabbles have turned into close love and laughter, friendship and sisterhood. Johanne and Christina are known for their admiration of each other, often calling each other daily to speak about everything going on in their lives. Chrissy has turned into the fun little sister every girl wishes they had!  She is a graduate of Hofstra University and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Christina is  also one of Cedric's biggest fans! She thinks of him as a brother and the two of them share secrets even from Johanne. . .must be a Greek thing!

 Darrell, aka Dabby is Cedric's brother close to age and responsible for his introduction to chess. Both Dabby and Eric are chess wizard. At a very young age Dabby took no mercy in making Cedric earn his chess victory. Cedric now understands that Dabby did not take pleasure in beating his baby brother in chess but helped him develop critical thinking skills and perserverance by taking time to play him everyday until Cedric finally beat him. After that victory Cedric felt he accomplished his goal and did not play Dabby in chess again. Cedric was now the king of chess!!!

Shirley Juste is cousin to the bride. Though god made them family, life made them friends. Johanne and Shirley were more like sisters growing up. Spending summers at their grandmother’s house eating Haitian food and bathing together in the tub- these two were inseparable! They roomed together in college at SUNY Stony Brook, as Johanne stated she wasn't living with anyone BUT Shirley! They spent many nights going out clubbing together, learning life's hard lessons together and growing into career woman TOGETHER! Although Shirley lives with her husband in Virginia, they are still very close. In fact, Johanne was Shirley's Maid of Honor when she was married.

Gail is not just a sister to Cedric, but more of a mother. She was instrumental in raising Cedric from a young age and the two remain close today. If anyone has a complaint about anything Cedric has ever said or written because it was sarcastic, then you have Gail to thank.  At a very young age she taught Cedric how to read and write! Using an "old school” blackboard that flipped over and had a magnetic side with big magnetic, plastic letters. It is safe to say that many of Cedric's educational accomplishments were due to her excellent tutelage.When Johanne met Gail, she knew she had to make a good first impression because Cedric cared about no ones opinion more than Gail's. Johanne was happy to find out that Gail is easy going, sweet and loving of both her & Cedric. Gail is a social worker in Brooklyn New York and enjoys watching basketball in her free time. Both Johanne and Cedric are thankful to have Big Sister Gail take part in their big day!

Yes, they are TWINS! Jennifer & Jessica are cousins of the bride. Jen & Jess moved from California when they were only a few years old and Johanne became an instant fan of her identical cousins. In fact to this day many family members still can't tell them apart- but Johanne can!  These two are smart, funny and successful. Both are practicing attorneys living in NYC. On weekends, both bride and groom are known to attend their famous wine and cheese socials! So much so, that the doorman thinks Johanne and Cedric live there too! How could we choose just one? BOTH Jen AND Jess have to be part of the special day!

"Junior" is the bride's younger brother. As he is the last of the four, and only boy- he is the baby of the family- always will be. Junior is known for his impressions of family members and friends- often keeping Johanne in stitches with his raw comedy act.  Junior is smart and loves sports. Ask him any sports trivia question and he knows the answer- it's a little scary!  Junior is attending State University at Farmingdale and wants to enter the sports management field. He loves music, fast cars and of course, chasing girls!

Eric is Cedric's eldest brother who Cedric learned new interesting voabulary from by reading his letters.  Yet another sibling that taught Cedric a lesson; how to pursue knowledge by not holding back- or treating him as a little kid. Cedric learned the word "cadaver" from Eric when he was in medical school, studying them. Young and curious at the time, Cedric looked up the word in his trusty Webster's dictionary and discovered that his brother's occupation of touching dead people was creepy.  None the less Cedric has learned other invaluable lessons from Eric when he spent a summer during his college break with his brother and saw Eric as a cool brother and not the creepy guy that touched dead people!   

David is the bride's UNCLE! Although younger than the bride- these two have always been very close. More like siblings, Johanne and David grew up together, attending parties and getting each other in and out of trouble. David is a graduate of Old Westbury and is working in Health Management. Uncle David spends his time, much like his nephew Junior, listening to music, watching sports and chasing girls! His favorite girl to chase- Leah! His 3 year old daughter! David is a great dad and a great Uncle- always coming to Johanne's rescue! She couldn't imagine this day without him being a part of it!

Taylor is the bride’s only niece, the daughter of the bride's older sister Valerie. She is 6 going on 16!  Taylor is smart, vibrant, and funny. Taylor loves to read, dance and play the piano. She also loves her Tattie Johanne and adores her new Uncle Cedric. In fact Taylor was the first one to tell Cedric he should marry Johanne!

Taylor Stevens is Cedric's favorite little one! She is the daughter of his high school friend and Fraternity brother Rob. (Rob was actually the promoter of the event at which the happy couple met). Taylor is as smart as she is cute! She is articulate and sweet. Taylor is also a GREAT big sister!

Nathaniel Rodwell-Simon is Cedric's honorary nephew! He is the son of Cedric's long time friends Sean & Cindy.  An incredibly inquisitive 3-year-old who wants to know about everything that's going on in the world around him, both bride and groom love being around this kid!  He loves pizza, music, play-dates and says, "I hope there will be chicken fingers at Miss. Johanne and Uncle Cedric's wedding."

Curtis Lawrence III is the son of Johanne's Co-worker! When she met Curtis- she fell in love with him instantly! He is both a scholar and a sweetheart!! He loves reading to his little brother as he is a gifted reader, although barely 3! He loves all kinds of trains and is a dinosaur expert.  This little guy spends his days playing computer games and eating rice cakes, yogurt and grapes! What a guy!

These two beauties are cousins of the bride. They have always been like younger sisters to her and the day would not be complete without them! Nola (L) and Cassie(R) will be serving as ushers to help guests along the way- the day of the wedding. . . . No Flirting guys! These two are here are to work!
