The story of how Jason and I met will depend on who tells it; Jason, Joni or myself (Kristel) =).  But since I am telling it, I promise to tell it just how it was.  I will try to be short and sweet!

Joni, Jason's big sis, Jas and I all went to Charter Oak High School.  Joni cam e back after she graduated from college aback to coach the track and cross country team, both of which I was on.  

Sooo, as Joni and I became close as coach and athlete, we also became close friends.  We would talk about everything and would hang out outside of track.  My conversation was open and without ulterior motive but in hind sight, Joni's had a strict agenda: Hooking Jason and I up!  She would Rant and Rave about her handsome, intelligent, athletic, warm hearted, hard working etc etc brother and would bring him along to workouts outside of track.  Jason would of course go all out, wearing no shirt and making sure he did all upper body regimens making sure that I saw the results =).

This is where a lot of detail and instances get cut out, but long story short I was not on the market and was therefore not fully interested, even though I did like what I saw and every now and then would become curious about what he would be like if I got to know him.

Joni brought up Jason and I being together frequently and one day my response was, "If God wants us to be together, we will."  He kept attempting to get my attention and every now and then I would do the same, but after I graduated it all kind of died down.  We never got past an hour long workout or his frequent pop up visits to my track meets.  I mean what college football star on his way to the league comes back to his high school to watch high schoolers run, unless they have an incentive cough cough =)

During my freshman year in college, Joni got word of me being single and about a week later I got a call from Jason.  We talked on the phone and hit it off right away.  I transferred from my local home town college to PURDUE University (Boiler Up!) in Indiana to be closer to him.  I had a ball, It was the best time of my life between meeting life long friends, growing closer to the love of my life and having our daughter!  He must have fell hard as well because here we are today 5 years later planning our special day!!

Jason and I have been through a whole lot of ups and downs, one of those major ups being having our beautiful baby Jastel as you all know!  One thing that has been consistent is that we have never fallen out of love. Each day and every experience we face strengthens our loving bond.  After 5 years we still Love loving each other and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together!  

God must have really wanted us together!

Jason planned a surprise all white birthday party for me in Vegas and invited some of my closest friends and immediate family.  I ended up finding out most of the minor details before the actual party but I had no idea that it was not only my birthday bask but also a way for us to announce our engagement and celebrate!  He proposed in a beautiful Venetian room by the Vegas city view!  A perfect weekend.

I don't have to say much about me, if you have access to this site then you know Jason and or I very well!  I am a God fearing woman and love life!
