On Saturday August 21st, Mandy Heaton hosted a Bridal Shower for me at 3 Layers here in Jacksonville. It was amazing! Everything was so pretty, and Mandy is so thoughtful.

One day I'm going to look back at this day and laugh at the events leading up to the shower. Here's a brief recap, and then some pictures! 

 The night before the shower John and I were getting my outfit ready and the dress I was going to wear had a stain on the front, so John was trying to scrub it out and actually scrubbed a hole in it! So, not too big of a deal, I'll just find something else or throw a sweater over the dress. Unfortunately the morning of the shower I had to run some errands at Jacksonville Beach, and Mandarin (across town) luckily with the help of a friend I found a sweater to wear, and was on my way home..except, I got a flat tire! I called John to ask him come help me change the tire and I'm thinking "Okay, I have an hour or so until the shower, I'll just get home, rush around to get ready--no big deal" except John calls back and tells me his car won't start. Are you serious?! Tears, and lots of them. John finds a neighbor to give him a jump and finally he's on his way. We get my tire off get my spare on only to find it's practically flat as well. What?! So we drive 30 mph the entire way home, and I call my mom who was on her way to the shower so she's able to come pick me up. Finally! I'm on my way to MY SHOWER! 

I couldn't believe how incredible everything was! It was so pretty, and perfect and I just am so amazed at what a great party it was, and how personalized it was. Yesterday was definitely one of the most special days of my life, and I'll remember it forever. <3
