There are so many fun things to do in the area! Whether you like fine wine, gourmet dining, or drinking afternoon tea with the most heavenly sweets on earth, then the Napa valley is for you. Here are just a few of our favorites places in the area ...
The Bouchon Bakery is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I especially love their take on the classic Oreo cookie, lovingly nicknamed the "TKO." Also make sure to try their macaroons... they are to die for!
Chef Thomas Keller's new restaurant, featuring a fresh new menu every day. The food is unpretentious and oh so yummy. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Make your reservations early, because this place books up weeks in advance!
Built in 1890 as a French Steam Laundry, this rustic two-story stone house is surrounded by a country garden planted with vintage roses, perennials and seasonal herbs. The French Laundry Restaurant has an intimate dining room with 15 tables. The dining time is 3-4 hours with two prix-fixe menus to choose from. Reservations are taken two months in advance to the calendar date (i.e. Reservations for April 1st are taken February 1st). Jackets are required.
HaGafen Cellars is located in the Napa Valley, in the heart of California's premier wine grape region. Less than a mile south of the famed Stags leap District and twenty yards from the Oak Knoll District--Napa's newest and most exciting of American Viticultural Areas--our well-drained soil is ideal for the growth and production of ripe and rich, intensely fruity small lot estate bottled wines.
