October 30, 2007, The proposal was very spontaneous and I just went with it. I felt like I didnt want to do things that other people might do but in the end it was just being me. So here's the story: I picked up the ring and a bunch of rose petals. I laid all the rose petals on our bed and I placed the ring in the middle. JoAnna got off work and it was time to pick her up. As I picked her up so many thoughts ran through my mind it was confusing and almost made me sick. Her facial expressions lead me to believe she may have a good idea of what I was about to do since we have talked about marriage before and we looked at rings before. So as we walked inside our home I had her wait a couple of minutes before heading to our bedroom. Afterwards, she walked in the, bed full of red rose petals on our bed with a shiny ring laid out in the middle. Her face was full of smiles. My heart was racing. It was the greatest moment. I knew I was going to marry this woman, she was the one for me. The ring laid on the bed and I picked up and one knee bent I nervously poured my heart out on what she meant to me and that I was committed to her and I wanted to spend my life with her.
