Wedding Details

For us The First stop, Roma 


Kurt and I will be arriving in Rome the week before the wedding. I will arrive the 26th of May.  All guests may plan their own itineraries however please arrive in Firenze at least the day of the wedding so you do not miss the 5pm ceremony in Fiesole. We will have a car arrangement for guests who are not driving to the ceremony itself. I will notify you of the pick up location

 

Second Stop Firenze

..  Sunday May 30th  some guests may travel from Rome to Florence.  Get a taxi from Florence rail station or from the florence airport (if you flying in). Take taxi to your hotel or apartment in Firenze. Wedding party will be staying in Firenze (Florence) at Hotel Santa Maria Novella, I suggest all guests do the same. The ceremony will take place in Fiesole which is 25 minutes up the hill over looking florence.  See accomodations page for hotel information.

THE LEGEND OF THE CASTLE

BIANCA WAS A PRETTY GIRL ADMIRED AND COURTED BY MEN FOR HER BEAUTY, BUT HER HEART BELONGED TO ONE MAN ONLY. HE WAS THE SON OF THE FAMILY'S ARCH-ENEMY, BUT THEIR LOVE SEAMED TO FAMILY FEUD. THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, BIANCA WENT UP TO THE TOWER AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF HER SPOUSE, BUT SHE SAW HER DESTINY. RIDING TOWARDS HIS FUTURE WIFE HE WAS ASSAILED BY HIS BROTHERS AND KILLED BEFORE THE EYES OF BIANCA. THE STORY GOES THAT BIANCA DlED OF A BROKEN HEART, DRESSED STILL IN HER WHITE WED ATTIRE. SINCE THAT DAY HER SPIRIT ROAMS AMONG THE WALLS OF THE CASTLE, AND SHE PROTECTS ALL LOVES, ESPECIALLY IMPOSSIBLE ONES.
