In love, I believe that I watched too many Disney movies and have always thought that there is someone out there for everyone. Aaron is the perfect balance for me. Where I am emotional, he is rational. However, he can be just as zany as me at times (have you ever seen him car dance?) It makes things always interesting and fun. I love to laugh and think that I am a pretty funny gal.. Aaron is sweet but is gentle in reminding me that sometimes I am laughing by myself!!!
Aaron is such a positive person. We share a lot of laughs and have a great time goofing around, biking, playing with our crazy dogs (our kids!), playing games, just living life really. He has such a great sense of family and loyalty. I admire him and look forward to many wonderful experiences.
It is funny because I never could have expected that the date that I was sooo late for (horrible traffic in Philly, no joke) would become what it has. Even then Aaron was patient! Our first date was at the Black Sheep, near 16th and we sat in the basement at a high bar table and chatted the night away (with the addition of a few visitors!!)
When we got engaged... August 2, 2008
How it all happened... On a jaunt to Long Beach Island, to "celebrate" passing my pediatric oncology exam, Aaron completely shocked me with an amazing proposal... to share my life with him. I was speechless and truly felt like my heart was soaring!!

The Outer Banks is the site of our wedding in North Carolina. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is a place to get out of the hustle of life. Down south, the pace is different and Aaron and I wanted to celebrate our happiness with those most important to us in a setting that is low-key. The calmness of the beach will let us focus on what is truly important... each other, family and friends.
