Our HUGE wedding party is mixed between our friends and family. Most of them are people we've known our whole lives while some are people we met in college. We cannot express how excited we are to be able to have all of these individuals in our wedding but mostly in our lives. We couldn't agree more that these people have helped to mold us into the people we are today. We thank them for sharing our special day with us and always supporting us!
Brianne is my(Suzi's) cousin. She has always been someone I've looked up to. From stealing her clothes, to making her do my make-up and hair for every event in my life she's always been there. She is always the one to help everyone with everything. I swear the things she says just makes me laugh so hard! Her and I have spent many hours in the car together traveling to the beach ("must kill all the humans!!!"), to nashville (please don't ever give us chips, m&m's, or milk that sat out all day), to Indiana to get our puppies (we have brother/sister puppies that are the cutest things in the world!!!) I am so lucky to have been able to grow up with her and couldn't be more excited to have her as my MOH! No words could ever express al the things she's done for me! She was the big sister I always wanted and taught me how to be a big sister to all my little sisters!
Kailey is my (Suzi's) sister. We have always been super close and loved doing everything together. There wasn't a thing we didn't do together growing up. My favorite memory would probably be the time my parents were at the hospital for the night with our sister molly would had broken her collarbone. We were left under the supervision of our older brothers and we told them we were going upstairs to play. We spent the night building the craziest obstacle course on my queen size bed. We then wrapped the bed with sheets hanging from the canopy and turned of the lights. I remember laughing nonstop at all the bumps and bruises you heard as each of us attempted the course. It was so fun!!!
Molly is my (Suzi's) sister. For most of the time Molly was the baby of the family. She was like my little baby sister I always wanted to protect from everything. Growing up we spent almost every night laying in bed telling stories and laughing until mom would come in ready to kill us. My favorite memory with molly would probably be the day we made our trampoline show. We got a videocamera, about 100 milk chugs, and went crazy on the trampoline. I just remember me being so annoying on the video with my loud mouth and stupid jokes and mollys cute little voice and face. About 5 years ago I found a note molly wrote about me on my nsync notepad talking about how much she liked hanging out with me. I cried when I read it because it was so sweet (& i still have it hanging on my wall in my room).
Kayla is Jared's twin sister & my soon to be sister in law! :o) I meet her playing softball for our traveling softball team. The first time I saw her we hit it off almost immediately! We were at a softball meeting at our coaches house and they were trying to talk to us during monday night football. (anyone who knows Kayla & I, knows this isn't a good idea) Me being the trouble maker I am grabbed the remote and turned on the t.v. right in the middle of our coaches speech. He immediately wanted to know who did it and we both could not contain our laughter! Kayla has always supported Jared and I even when Jared had no idea I even liked him. She was the first person I told on an elevator ride in buffalo new york and I was so happy to see how excited she was. I thought for sure she'd hate that another one of her friends liked her brother but that wasn't the case at all. In June 2012, I was lucky enough to get the chance to be her bridemaid & I'm so excited that she agreed to do the same for me!
Gina is my (Suzi's) cousin. Anyone that doesn't know Gina be warned! (j/k) Gina has always been someone I looked up to growing up. Her and Brianne had to deal with me almost 24/7. I think the part of Gina that I have grown to admire most is the fact she is not afraid to say exactly how she feels. If she doesn't like you, you'll know it. If she doesn't like you outfit choice, you will go change before being seen in public with her. :o) I love that about her and overtime I think that is a trait we have both had in common. That being said she is also one of the most caring people I've met. She's always doing volunteer work and she's always the first person to buy a gift for needy children at christmas time. She is a person who I admire and I'm so lucky to have grown up with her across the street!
Sammi is my (Suzi's) cousin. She is my partner in crime! Growing up until this day we have been almost unseperable! If we're not arguing about something stupid you can bet we're doing something stupid! I think just about everynight of our childhood we spent having sleepovers and watching movies. I can't think of a time we weren't sharing clothes or making fun of someone. I also can't remember a time that I had a problem and she wasn't there even if it was one of my childhood boyfriends wanting to talk on the phone and me not wanting to and Sammi would sit an talk to them pretending to be me. (haha)
Sarah is my (Suzi's) cousin. She is the most caring person! There is not a single time that girl is thinking about herself. She'd give and give and give to anyone before she thought of herself and what she wanted. I wish I could be half as good as she is. I couldn't think of a better role model for someone than she is!
Amanda is my (Suzi's) best friend! We first met in the summer before our freshmen year of high school. We were both going out for the softball team. From the time we first met we were never apart. Through out the years we have had so many ups and downs happen in our lives but never once were we ever up and down with each other! There are so many memories that I have with this girl and so many of them I'd never tell any of you! (haha) I think one of the funniest memories would be the night we went to a sleepover party at her house after a dance. We had all of our softball friends there and Amanda's sister kristy was away on a crew trip. Her family had baked Kristy a welcome home cake and was saving it for when she came home. Well anyone who doesn't know Amanda's grandmother & I have an amazing relationship! She is so special to my heart and I know I am special to her. That being said, Amanda's gram decided since I wouldnt be there when Kristy came home to eat the cake I was allowed to cut the cake early. Us softball players dug in and ate half the cake and when Kristy came home she had a cake that said "wel ho kri" :o) I still laugh hysterically at that story!
Isabella is my (Suzi's) littlest sister. She is 6 years old. She is the baby of the family and of course she's spoiled rotten! Her & I do almost everything together. We paint, sing, dance, walk the dogs, swim, study, read... We have yearly traditions such as, going to the canfield fair, fourth of july fireworks in new caslte, pumpkin patch picking, trick or treating, hartwood acre lights, etc. I don't know how I lived so long without her in my life. She has been the puzzle that completed me. Growing up I was always jealous because my brothers Patrick and Sean had each other & my sisters Kailey and Molly had each other and I was always the one who figured it out for myself. Now I have my Bella bug! She is so sweet, smart, and so so so funny! Love her with my entire heart!
Steve is my (Jared's) closest friend. We meet our freshman year of college were we both majored in Chemical Engineering. This meant spending pretty much all day everyday together going to class and spending most nights doing homework together. Outside of class we enjoyed watching the Pens together, and to this day I still have not met someone who can better impersonate the accent of the infamous Dr. Lim. Above all else, there is not another person I would have as my best man. He watched as Suzi and I fell love, and I want him to be the person standing right next to me handing me her ring as we say I do.
Justin is my (Jared's) brother in law. I tried to warn him about marrying into my crazy family but he insisted that we were "normal". One of my best memories with Justin occurred when he came on vacation with Suzi and my family. I would love to tell you the story but we swore each other to secrecy. What happens in Orlando stays in Orlando.
Patrick is Suzi's oldest brother. I can not count the number of sporting events we have watched together, whether it be the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, or even boxing. He has always been willing to help me if I needed anything. He has watched as Suzi and I have spent the last 6 plus years of our lives together, and now he can finally watch us as we solidify our love for one another.
Sean is Suzi's older brother. He has the ability to make anyone laugh and is an amazing singer. I know Sean would not hesitate to kill me if I ever hurt Suzi! Sean is one of the funniest people I know and he is always the life of the party. Our wedding party would not be complete with out him.
Dorlan is my (Jared's) friend. We meet each other during our freshman year of college. Including Steve and myself, we were like the three amigos. Dorlan is one of the kindest people I know. Being that he is far from home, this islander has also been to family dinners on the holidays since he could not travel to be with his family. I am still waiting for my invite to spend Christmas with his family in the Bahamas. I do not have enough time to tell you about how cold he was if the temperature was below 45F, and you should have seen him walking into class in February of 2010 when we got 11 inches of snow in one day.
Matt is my (Jared's) neighbor and has been the closest thing to a little brother to me. Growing up across the street from me, I have watched as he has grown from the little boy who called me "Jaren" to the young man that now calls me Jared and will be graduating from high school in June 2013. One of the best memories I have resulted in an emergency room visit for Matt's little sister Nicole. Matt, his father, his sister, my sister, and, I went camping one summer in the mountains. One of the cabins had kittens free to a good home. Of course little Nicole had to have one. When Matt's dad returned to the cabin with the kitten the first thing we did was bath it. I have never seen more fleas on an animal in my life. When we woke up the next morning and drove home, without the kitten, Matt noticed what appeared to be a flea bite on Nicole's face. For fear that it was a tick bite Matt's dad took her to the emercency room when we got home. It was at this point that the nurse poured rubbing alcohol onto a cloth and wiped the red sleeping bag dye off of her check.
Andy is Suzi's cousin. He is one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. To this day I do not think I have ever heard him tell someone no when they asked him for a favor. He is also one of my favorite golfing buddy even if he beats me most of the time. I'm so grateful to have him share my special day with me.
Manny is my (Jared's) friend. We met prior to our freshman year of college at early orientation and have been friends ever since. We were in almost every class together and even spent a lot of time out of class. One of my best memories with Manny was when we had to build a Rube Goldberg that would open a door in a minute. We were graded on both funtionality and reproducibility. The best part of this project was how we named it after Manny. The machine named simply "One Minute Manny".
Andrew is my (Jared's) 2nd cousin. He is 2 years old. He loves to be on the move and is spoiled rotten with love! He also loves his m&m's, which is how we'll be getting him down the aisle at the wedding.
