Our Story
We both grew up in California, about 30 miles away from each other. Travis had moved out to Texas about a year before I did. I decided to move out to Texas to Rodeo for Tarleton State my 3rd year of College. When we met in Texas, it was so crazy, we had grown up 30 miles away from each other our whole lives and had to move half way across the country at meet.
We met in Stephenville TX at the Agave Bar and Grill.
It was Valentines Day. Travis would not tell me what we were going to be doing that night, just that I needed to be ready to go at 6:15. When six o'clock came around he told me that I had to go to the Agave to get my present and that I had to go by myself. When I got to the Agave the was a bottle of wine a rose and a card that told me to go to another place. There I found a card and a rose that lead me to another place. The next rose told me to go back to my house. When I go to the house it looked like no one was there. When I walked in there was rose petals everywhere and Travis got down on one knee and I started crying, happy tears. I know that he had a great speech planed, but I do not remember hearing anything that he said. I was just so excited. He had a table set and dinner ready for us. It was an amazing night!
I am 22 years old. I am going to be graduating form Tarleton State in May 2010 with a bachelors in Kinesiology.
