Baltimore and Washington DC are both fantastic cities and we're sure you'll enjoy your stay no matter which city you choose. Columbia (the city where Oakland Manor is located) is not accessible by public transportation, so you'll need to rent a car or procure alternate transportation.
Washington DC is the posher, pricer neighbor of Baltimore, but deals are to be found if you search. We've provided a basic list of accomodations but please don't feel tied to suggested options. We highly suggest staying in a rented vacation home with others or in a bed and breakfast.
We're so glad you're traveling to be with us on our special day, it truly means the world to us.
MaryBeth created a fantastic list of vacation homes to rent as a group. Check out her spreadsheet for more information.
A great list of reviews and ratings for local hotels. Check out Baltimore, Washington DC and Columbia. We recommend looking at Baltimore first, it's a wonderful, exciting city with public transportation to Washington DC if you'd like to visit for the day. Baltimore is often less expensive and easier to navigate than DC is.
