For Those Who Need to get Around

Sure...you could go to the Metro website and try to figure your way around.  However, your best bet is to visit HopStop. Enter in your destination details and it will let you know which trains to catch, or buses to take and how far you'll need to walk.  It's heavenly!

For Foodies (and those who need to eat) -

DC is an amazing hot bed of delicious cuisine.  For a romantic, upscale evening visit Corduroy and to see Congressmen mingling with college kids visit Ben's Chili BowlZaytinya is known hot spot for fantastic food and drinks.

For a taste of DC's nightlife stroll through the Adam's Morgan neighborhood. Visit Napoleon lounge for drinks upstairs or dancing in the basement, there’s also the Left Bank which has a more contemporary feel. If you're looking for a more relaxed night out, try Tryst coffee house, locals enjoy Perry’s roof deck for drinks under the stars and great views of the neighborhood.

Okay, okay...so maybe you don't want to go Baltimore to see the Best Team in Baseball (aka the Orioles).  The local professional team of Washington DC is can be found here. Depending on when you plan your visit they may be playing away games.

We hope you find time during your stay to check out the National Zoo.  With everything from giant pandas to pygmy goats spending a day at the zoo is bound to be fun.  The best part? It's FREE.  Yup, FREE.  We dig it.

For Museum Folks

If you enjoy museums you've come to the right place. DC is crawling with them and like many other fabulous DC sites -  most of them are free! We suggest visiting the Smithsonian's website to find a museum that fits your taste.  Enjoy!

For History Buffs

The National Mall and Parks are simply amazing. From monuments to museums you can see so many important pieces of American history. In fact, it's difficult to walk around DC without finding a bit of history!
