Hey Ladies,
In all honesty, I'm actually more nervous about passing my N2 Dutch exam and entrance into another graduate school program than my wedding (which is on August 7th). Strange hugh?
Since my FI and I live in another country (the Netherlands), we're doing the bulk of the major decisions in 2 two week vacations to San Francisco (December 08, December 09).
In just two weeks in December 08, we booked:
- event planner
- parish and priest
- venue
- photographer
- videographer
- make-up artist
This coming Christmas, we're doing the rest. Or more accurately, we're just letting our event planner "hold our hand" and help plan the rest.
Sometimes I do get a bit jealous of not being more hands on (DIY), and having the time to go back and forth to make the decisions.
I'm sharing my experience though simply to share that a wedding, and all the major decisions, can be planned without much stress. For those ladies still considering hiring a full wedding planner/event designer due to a hectic work schedule/busy
lives, it may be the best investment you can make.
((hugs))
