Call me old fashioned but I believe that the man is the head of the household.  And like a quote from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", 'a man may be the head of the house but the woman is the neck ...'.  I think that it's important to do things every day to let my man KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is #1 in my eyes.       I found this list that has a lot of great ideas on just how to do that.
