FI told me about an article he read about a couple who committed to 365 says of sex. http://www.webmd.com/sex-relationships/features/365-nights-of-sex-can-it-strengthen-a-marriage so I decided to look it up. I think were going to try this after the HM, actually we'll start at HM ;) could you do it?

I heard of a couple a few years ago who did this.  It was her birthday gift to her husband!  She said it was awkward, because the first night they were supposed to start they spent visiting overnight at her parent's house - despite the awkwardness they did it anyway.  I think she wrote a book about how it changed her outlook on sex and how it really improved their marriage, too.

I think whether a couple accomplishes all 365 days, or gets somewhere close to that by trying hard but not always making it, that still means a lot.  I think the point is to be very deliberate about making it a priority and staying connected.  Why not?!  :)

Correct me if Im wrong but does she not have a period? I mean I know when I have mine we use the back door (tmi) but just wondering? But wow 365 days Thats alot to commit to. Idk it might be fun to try and for each day you dont u have to double up the next lol

This actually sounds kind of fun, and theoretically you could use a menstrual cup  during that time of the month.

Interesting. I've thought about that sort of thing before because after a couple days without it, its like come on!! But I have found that sometimes when we go without it longer, it seems to be better. KWIM? I should see what FI thinks!

Well from what I've read it was never a forced thing. If one didn't feel well they would pass for the night. So I'm guessing they made every effort. And maybe during period week other sexual acts could be done period week = head week? Or back door week? I think itsa great idea to stay connected. That way excuses like "I'm too tired" won't stop you. I know FI and I have gone sometimes 3 or 4 weeks without. We don't live together and sonetimes its just not convenient. But I think we may try this after HM!

Hmmmm this is really interesting. I just mentioned it to FI and his face immediately went ":D" LOL.

I like that it's not forced, and am I the only one who doesn't mind having sex on her period? FI doesn't care either. It doesn't mean it has to be back door sex or whatever else, we just have regular sex. Then again my BC makes it so I don't bleed a lot.....

@ridegrl, me and bf have sex while I'm on my period also. I always thought it was kind of gross but he doesn't care!

I feel like me and bf already do this.. we don't live together and we see each other about once per week, so whenever we see each other for that one day, we have sex about 3 times in one night and then twice in the morning.

Whenever he lived close by and I slept over every night, we would have sex every night.

So anybody try this yet?? ;)
