495.00 Day Of "wedding planner is that real?

Wow, $495.00 for a day of wedding coordinator?? Too bad Porfiria is in New York!! I cringe at the thought of having to pay $1000 dollars for a coordinator! If you break it down, that's about $200+ dollars an hour! I really don't know yet if it is worth it, but it would be nice to not have to worry about anything on our wedding day.

Does anyone know of any coordinators in the Southern California area who do not charge an arm and a leg for day of wedding coordination!?!? The cheapest I've found thus far was about $800.

Porfiria told me that 495.00 was a price just for the "Day of" during off peak season. But I am still happy I got that price . My grilfriend told me that she call a Brooklyn Planner and they qoute her 12,000 Full service for 100 guest.
