I'll agree that the subconscious is VERY annoying especially considering it’s generally used in the wrong context lol there are so many other words that could have been substituted to stop being so repetitive lol

I LOVED the books but agree that they re pure fluff. There are authors who are "writers" and want to win a Pulitzer and authors who write stuff that hit a MASS market and they make tons of money...it’s all about what you want and what the public wants to be reading.  The twilight books are a prefect example of that,. Not well written AT ALL but still managed to pull in millions of loyal readers, fans and followers (myself included lol).

I had heard that they were so fabulous and funny...but frankly, I would've been just fine without having ever turned the first page. I want to slap all the characters. Ironic, isn't it? Lol. I agree totally that it reads like a highly adult version of Twilight. I won't be wading through the next two books, that's for sure. 

I think these books have been a gulity pleasure of mine. I thought the writing itself was atrocious, but I got past that and simply enjoyed it for what it is...an easy read.  

They're the sort of book you should read on vacation IMO, nothing that makes you concentrate and just a bit of fun.
