Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there are any brides to be that also just found out they are recently pregnant? My DH and I have been TTC but without much pressure or concern. I figured when it happens, it happens. Well, it happened! I found out on my birthday while wine tasting. I went to Sonoma to several wineries and at each winery, I felt sicker and sicker! When I reached the second to the last winery, I ran out of the winery feeling so sick, and then just became sick all over the plaza! So embarassing! I thought I had food poisoning and continued to try wine. However, continued to get sick. I even got sick at the winery that the bachelor Ben owns! Well, when I got home, I took a test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy, and it came back positive! I was shocked and happy at the same time. I went the next morning to a doctor and they confirmed at the time I was 5 weeks along! My DH is so excited though and can't stop telling people. Although, I know you are suppose to wait, I am pretty excited too. Now, I'm actually feeling more pregnancy symptoms, but until that point I had no idea!

My wedding is in May, so I'll be at 6 months (granted that my pregnancy continues to be healthy). I bought a corset wedding dress back in September, so I'm thinking I should be fine, since corsets can expand. So, this spring, not only am I trying to finish up details for the wedding, I am also finishing up my thesis and coursework to graduate with my Master's, and now I have a baby on the way! Just curious if there are any other moms to be who also have a wedding in the near future?

Congraultions and your wedding and baby on the way! What a way to find out. I am 7 months along and I can't tell you how good wine tasting sounds about now. lol When are you due? You should join us at Spring/Summer Babies too if you haven't already.

Congratulations!  I'm at 8 weeks with my first too!  I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, so I'll know my exact due date then.  But I'm guestimating September.  We've been married since April, but still yay for being in it together!  Hoping and praying for a healthy pregnancy for both me and you!

Hi! How did you doctor's visit go? I'm still waiting on mine, not by choice :( Waiting on my health insurance to get all figured out. I'm just anxious to find out how everything is! Keep me posted, it's nice to have someone else in the same boat as I am :)

Doctor's visit was GREAT!  Little bean and I are perfectly healthy.  I'm now at 9 weeks.  They ran some blood tests, and everything is wonderful. :)  Getting a little nausea in the mornings now, but it subsides by lunchtime. 

I got pregnant after we had been married but congratulations on your little bean!! :)

Thanks! I will be 9 weeks on Monday, and I'll finally have my first doctor's appointment, yay! I'm just anxious to hear the little bean's heart beat :)

Congratulations!  It'll be amazing when you hear the heart beat!

I found out that I am pregnant about 3 weeks ago and I am 7 weeks! I was originally getting married on Decemeber 31, 2012.. but with the baby being due Dec. 3 - we moved the wedding up to July. I'm so happy to be able to marry FI sooner!

Oh Emmy, congrats! When I was planning my wedding, I was in grad school as well, so I know how that pressure feels but I cannot imagine adding a baby to that mix! I really wish you all the luck and strength in the world and I think with our support you'll be able to come out of all of this as one strong, smart, married mama :)
